DVT (Dry Valve Technology) is one of the most significant innovations in regulator technology in recent history. DVT is a fully automatic valve that protects your first stage regulator's internal components against the harsh water environment in which we work and play; with no impact on the regulator's first-class performance.
DVT provides an "automatic extra layer of protection" from environmental contamination such as dirt, dust, sand, spray, dripping and pooled water, or even a "flash flood" in a rinse tank. DVT improves performance and reduces service costs associated with corrosion of critical internal components, bacteria, hose deterioration, and damaged gauges and computers.
Taking another stride beyond common second stage engineering, the AT400 Pro features a pneumatically balanced valve that maintains a preferred breathing resistance throughout the dive. Set it once and the AT400 Pro automatically adjusts to make breathing as easy at 100 feet as it is at 30 feet - with no additional manual adjustment. A simple twist of the AT400 Pro's adjustment knob enables complete control...set the inhalation requirement to near zero when you need ultimate performance, or tune it for greater resistance as conditions or preferences change.
The 400 Pro DVT's lightweight design and patented orthodontic mouthpiece mean you'll be comfortable and breathing easily throughout your dive and won't face post-dive jaw discomfort once you've returned to the surface.

Excellent quality- I bought an aeris at400 sport last year, great regulator, the sport is easy without the adjustability, never have a problem with it. the pro is everything I want in a regulator, + free maintenance! I ended up paying 100$ less without trade in for the pro, than for the sport with trade in- always nice dealing with leisure pro!

This regulator is simply amazing. Breathing is effortless, even at 100+ feet. The dry valve technology does a great job (definately saved the day on numerous occasions). I've never had any problems with it, and it doesn't cause jaw fatigue.

I have 55 dives on this regulator, and have used it everywhere from Northern California to Cozumel. I have never had a single issue with it. Great reg at a reasonable price.

Although my reg is still fairly new, I have put more than a dozen dives on it. It's been to 107fsw and has performed flawlessly. This reg breaths for you! Forget jaw fatigue. The DVT feature is very handy and the second stage adjustments are are set-it-and-forget-it simple.
