The R190 regulator was designed with the serious sport diver in mind; it is rugged and requires very little maintenance. SCUBAPRO took the R190 and enhanced it to create the ultimate octopus. The R190 octopus offers the same durability as the R190 and a few additional features, including a longer hose and a bright yellow color for easy visibility. This octopus is dependable and ready to work. The R190 Octopus also has the user-controlled Venturi Initiated Vacuum Assistant (VIVA). The VIVA system reduces the amount of effort divers expend while breathing; this patented technology is user-maintained and is available on all current SCUBAPRO second stages the R190 combines a time-tested, fourth-generation downstream design with rugged construction and dependability.
