The Spectra 2 has a low internal profile thanks to its dual lens design, which decreases the amount of surface area between the diver's face and the mask. Because there is less space to fill, less water can if your mask is accidentallyknocked off by another diver. Less water between the mask and diver's face meansthe Spectra 2 is easier to clear than single lens masks and many other dual lensmasks.

The Spectra 2 mask was designed for divers with smaller faces. It has dual silicone skirts to hug the diver's face and keep the water out. Not only does the Spectra 2 fit well, it also looks great. It is available in bold colors and brags of a sleek and sporty design. I love this mask. I was surprised to be buying a mini, but after having a problem equalizing every other mask I've ever owned, it makes perfect sense.The silicone is silky smooth and impressive as well. The bad news is that I paid [$] for this mask on Grand Cayman, the good news is that I had some great diving and no worries equalizing at 120 ft. I did have the blue paint on the rim chip on the first time out, but other than that it is perfect. I can't wait to do more diving now that I finally don't have to worry about equalizing!!!!!!!

The only issue I have ever had diving was when a mask leaks. Drives me crazy! I have a small face and this mask fit perfectly. There were many dives on our last Cozumel trip where I did not have to clear my mask even once during the dive! Would definitely recommend to a person with that smaller, hard to fit face.

I tried this mask on (along with many, many others) in a local shop. Nothing came close to the amazing fit of the Spectra 2. I guess I have a "smaller face," as SCUBAPRO puts it. I used it for a half hour last weekend in Morrison Springs, FL, and didn't have to clear it once. No fog. Try it on locally, then buy it for less than half the price from Leisurepro.
