Adding air to mask really eases equalization. Ear valves not equal one flows better than the other but the mask works to help equalize better than anything else I have tried. Saves my ears. Fit carefully to avoid leaks. Check all around the edges for folds.

This mask does exactly what is advertises (which is refreshing) I don't know that it helps with clearing but it certainly keeps your ears dry. I showed it to my ENT physician and he in turn showed to another ENT physician who dives. My physician was concerned about me diving with bad ears but after seeing the mask gave me full clearance.

I have only been down a dozen feet under water with this mask, but no water entered my ears and that is the purpose of the ear cups.
