NEPTUNE II NIRA is the integration of the second stage (NIRA) and a full face mask (Neptune II). NIRA (Neptune Integrated Regulator Adapter) is an adjustable second stage, properly designed for the NEPTUNE II features. With the use of the NIRA you can get the best performance from the Neptune II. The NIRA has a double position deflector to eliminate accidental flows, caused by impacts on the surface.

The inhaling effort is adjustable to different operating conditions and depths. The second stage NIRA is particularly made to be use at low temperatures, where the normal regulators usually freeze. The purge-button is oval and big for easy access. A special block protects the front cover from accidentally unscrewing.

Taken the mask to Cozumel, Hawaii and local diving. YOU MUST read to learn how to use it.
1. put on tighten center strap, then lower strap lthe last it the top one.
-Adjust air flow screw when at bottom= use less air.
-Does free flow at certain angles. You learn to avoig them.
-Go to pool to learn to adjust it. Not your learn at the dive mask!
-If you do not adjust it well= leaker!
-take your time with the nose plugs.
-learn to relax to save air.

I used it 3 times, and now it is hanged in my closet, it waste a lot of air, your dive time is at least cut in half, i tryed with 4 different regulators and all falls in free flow eventualy.

Tank life shortened, I suggest that you use a double tank set up. That way you get max time, with out having to re-surface.

This was my first FF mask and its a good product but air comsumption is bigger with this kind of mask, I recomend it for those who wants the benefits of a FF mask over air durability.
