This is the best mask I've ever had the opportunity to dive with! Here are a couple of reasons why:

First, I'm an experienced diver, and wear my mask quite loose most of the time, but unfortunately, I don't like to shave every day, and a couple of days of stubble usually makes masks leak profusely. The LiquidSkin is incredibly soft, and reliably seals out water on a stubbly face even when the mask is fitted rather loosely! I love it!

Secondly, I'd like to think I don't have a huge nose, but I do have problems with most masks putting excessive pressure on the bridge of my nose, which is very uncomfortable during long dives. Originally, I thought the answer was to get a mask with a single piece of glass, but after trying many, I discovered that this is not the answer. The X-Vision is the answer! It has good nose clearance, and I no longer suffer with a tender nose after a day of three or four dives.

I'm so happy with this mask, I had to share my thoughts. Cheers!

I am an advanced diver and i bought 3 of these for our local dive team. Three of us used them and all three had problems with them leaking.In my opinion over priced.

Terrible mask. It always leaks, fogs like crazy despite treatment, and it is very expensive with no return policy. I will never again buy a Mares mask or any mask from leisurepro. The only good thing was the comfortable feel and good range of vision.

I have owned a dozen masks and hated most of them. This mask was extremely comfortable, didn't fog at all, and had a good fit. There was a little leaking when looking up, but it was tolerable and purged easily. I am a small framed woman and worried about the fit, but it was great. This mask has my vote of confidence.

I have only used this in the pool for an open water course and it leaks constantly and is extremely painful, after clearing the mask all the water rushes back in before it seals.

My original x-vision does not leak.This one does.So I took some measurements. Found the liquid skin silicon skirt and double lip both,to be a fraction smaller than the original. May be why it leaks for so many.The new silicon is great so if Mares used the original dimensions and the original buckle design w/the liquid skin they'd have a perfect mask.I'll use it as a back up.I tried to contact their tech support but couldn't find an e-mail address. Maybe Leisurepro can contact their sales rep.

I love this mask. It's the perfect size for my face and the liquid skin skirt is beyond comfortable. I use prescription lenses and they were easy to get for this mask as well.

Best feeling mask Ive used in over 500 dives BUT it will NOT fit every person!!! Mine has a slight leak.

I will say this mask took a bit to get used to, but after that it is the best mask I have ever owned. It is so comfortable it almost feels loose at first and is so low volume any water that gets in feels like more than it really is. Having said that, it is so comfortable I almost forget I'm wearing it. The range of vision is superb. I can look at my computer down at my chest area and don't have to bring it all the way up to my face to see it. As flexible as the seal is, I can't imagine it not fitting every face shape and size.

Mask fit like a glove. Very light and comfortable, low volume, easy to adjust, even liked the factory strap! Treated the lenses and tried it in the pool...wonderful! Off to Hawaii and the masked leaked like a sieve below 10'. Could not see the hole, but 3 other divers found same problem so it was not a face-fit issue. Love my mask. Blue Fog is the lightest color they have in the LiquidSkin model. Note! [...] has incorrectly listed BlueFog as a color option for the PureVision mask line which is incorrect. If you order the Blue Fog color for PureVision on this site you will get the Blue Grey model which has a dark blue frame color. I have the X-vision and now the Liquid skin X-vision. Both work great for me and they fit like a glove.

I like the way it feels (comfort), I like the viewing angles, its low volume (easy to clear), and easy to adjust.

I can't really tell the difference between the X-vision liquid skin and the X-vision aside from the price. Both fit really well.

Bottom line: This is a high quality mask and great fit (for me). I say this, because others have complained on this review. Really, everyones' face is shaped differently and you have to try it on and actually use it in the water. If you have the right shaped face for this mask, you'll love it.

I like diving with this mask, it's very comfortable and has a pretty good field of view (about as good as you can get with flat lenses). If you are going to purchase this mask I highly recommend that you get the silver/black combination. Unfortunately I have two. My first one was the clear/blue combination. The problem with the clear seal is that light reflects off the seal on the inside back onto the lenses and creates a noticeable reflection while diving (very distracting). I don't have this problem with the silver/black combination.

I thought this mask would feel and work well. I was wrong. It continually leaks. I tried adjusting the strap, mouth reg position and many things, still leaks. Seal is so flexible that the mask would press continually against my forehead even after blowing air. Pretty disappointed over all. My search still continues for a nice mask.

This mask is awesome except for one tiny thing. It has a great seal before you descend, but if you do get water in the mask and try to clear it, it seems to not want to seal as well. So yes, it leaks occasionally, but this mask is awesome. It has a great look, durable, and the sight range is amazing.

I have been using X-vision mask for a long time this is actually my 4th, i always liked how they fit my face and i was a little bit aprehensive with this liquidskin but my mares dealer gave me one to try and i have been using it. On the beginning it felt kind of strange the material of the liquidskin felt like i had water all the time in my face and i was clearing and clearing... but wasn't water, was the sensation that the material gave to me, took me awhile to get used but now i love it and i am sure my next x-vision will be again a liquidskin. If you guys want to buy a mask on internet make sure you try one first in a store, because a mask cannot fit all faces, you have to find one that fits yours.

Tried on at BTS, felt great, liked design and fit.Bought one and had Rx lenses made...Used on Aggressor trip to Belize, first day on dive#4 started to press on the spot at base of nose just above top lip....pain got so intense I removed mask during dive and hand held to face to relieve pressure...tried second day and same thing on 1st dive...sent back to have Rx lenses removed and trashed it...do not know why some masks do this...my old mask worked fine rest of week(20 dives)

My main concern with this mask is that it has been so highly touted as a great fitting, great sealing mask and you pay accordingly. I am an adult male. It leaked like a sieve. I gave it to my 16 year old daughter to try and she absolutely loved it. I got better performance out of a couple of other Mares low volume masks that were 1/3-1/2 the price. Buyer beware. It was not worth the extra money.

Diving in the Caymans over 100 feet. This mask is fantastic. Two of us were wearing the same mask and had no problems. You almost felt naked! Helps to scrub the mask first with Soft Scrub.

Bought 2 of these masks. One for me and one for my girlfriend. We used them to snorkel in Hawaii and both continuously leaked on us around the nose and side area. We ended up using much cheaper lender ones on our activities. I will look for a more rigid material, and not the "liquid skin".
