The Matrix establishes new records, with its patented concept of raked lenses and its special "inverted drop" of the lenses has beenfurther developed. The lenses are placed as closely as possible to the eyes, which further increase the field of view taking it to the maximum levels possible. The newly designed headband is very narrow and is practically invisible when the mask is being worn. Inthe upper part of the headband there are inserts in a rubber material that not only have a strong grip but is also aesthetically attractive. The soft silicone skirt has a new profile and a wide sealing ring for excellent grip and unprecedented comfort. The internal volume of the mask is exceptionally low, lower than that of many free diving models and the weight is decidedly low. Two pressure buckles, integrated into the headband, allow for quick and accurate adjustment of the strap, the strap also has a new design with a very wide support area at the back for magnificent comfort. The Matrix is an excellent mask for both snorkeling and scuba diving.

It never leaked during 8 days of snorkeling in Hawaii, in a mask what else can you hope for. It fogged up once in a while but no more or less than any other make I have used. All and all a real bargain at this price. If you have an average to narrow face you will not be disappointed.

I go snorkeling in the Keys, and wanted a mask that would give me the best visibility. I can't imagine using another mask. In fact I bought a second one as a backup.

I travel to the Florida Keys to snorkel, and this is absolutley the best mask I have ever owned. Very comfortable, light weight, with incredible visibility. I can't imagine using another mask.

Very nice mask, buy black skirt only or on sunny days all you will see is an upside down V in the middle of your mask! "Glare" Also I have a small face and the Mares X does not fit well, it's too big! This mask fits well, does not leak and does not fog if you properly clean it with white Crest tooth paste. Not gel!

Get this mask in BLACK silicone. It is the best fit and comfort I have ever had in a mask. The Black Silicone is softer and better for spearfishing since it will eliminate shadows. Also the best for the money.

I LOVE this masks!! It has an AWESOME downward range of vision! I bought another one for my dad and he can't say enough good things about it either!! Would definitely recommend!!

** About the fogging: I've found that whenever i purchase a new mask, if I use rub toothPASTE (not gel)in the lens that it removes a thin film (but doesnt scratch the lenses) and then it wont fog again!! There are many other home remedies for mask fogging also!

Great fit and visibility, but there's a small problem when snorkeling... the clear silicone doesn't block the light from the sides which causes the light to glare around the edges. Otherwise great mask for a good price.

I replaced my 4 window mask with this one due to the increased downward field of vision so that I can easily access my gear and see my camera and whatnot. I really am amazed at how much more I can see with this mask and it is very comfortable. My husband agrees and can see the difference but says this model feels too small for his face, he will try a different model with similar raked lenses. Also the price cannot be beat with Leisure pro.

I have two masks I carry regularly. The matrix is good, but does limit vision a little upwardly - compensated downwardly. It also sits awkwardly at the bridge of my nose at depth... good cut below the nose however. Overall my preference is for my Oceanic Shadow, especially in bright light snorkelling, but this is a good backup mask.

This is the 2nd Cressi Sub mask that I've owned, the first being the predecessor to Matrix - a mask called the Horizon. This is really a more refined version of the earlier Horizon. It's very lightweight, offers exceptional downward vision - which is great for cold water diving and night diving for BUGs, as you can see below your chin and view all of your BC and attached gear. The adjustable racket device is a nice touch for adjusting the strap, too.

Very happy with the Cressi-Sub Matrix mask. It is the most comfortable mask I have owned. Very light weight, seals good. Only concern may be the strap seems a little to light weight but no problems with it so far.

My husband ordered his Cressi Matrix mask first. I tried it on and I had to have one. It is the most comfortable mask that we have tried on. I have tried on many masks,and not one of them has came close to the comfort level, as this mask. The price is also great for the quality of this mask. I will be ordering another one!!!

Strange thing, with my Picasso suit this mask leaks quite a bit. Hair is clear, masl is under flaps of the hood. With my cressi suit, no leaks at all when I wear this mask. Face hole on the hood of my cressi must be a little larger and therefore does not push on the mask causing it to leak like the Picasso suit does.
