I used this mask from 1982 to 1989 and it was a great mask in those days,but now there are hundreds of masks out there that are a lot better than this.The mask i use now is similar to this one but is lighter and more comfortable.I understand that there is some nostalgia wit this mask but in my opinion is a collector item.

This is a really good product for military divers for a variety of reasons (the top side mounting bolts, etc). However, it's not a really good look, so if your goal is the cover of a magazine, not for you, in black anyway.

My Father had this mask when I was growing up as a kid. Now I'm serving in the Marines and own basically the same mask he's owned since the 80's and its easy to see why he's kept the same mask for so long. Been a top of the line product from one generation to the next.

Great mask with excellent visibility and feels great to use it. I'm using this mask mostly for snorkeling. Mask's tough design gives a feeling of reliability. I just love it.

This mask is great. Better than the old one witch was black rubber and left black rubber on your face after sometime. Frame is real nice with steel wrapped all around it. No plastic. Old school...

I like the how the mask opens up my field of view. I am having some problems with leakage a little below my nose. I hope that as I tinker with it and the mask settles in, this won't continue to be a problem. But its not bad enough for me to stop using it. Overall I like it better than my ScubaPro mask, then though this one lacks a purge.

THIS TYPE OF MASK WAS ONE OF THE FIRST I HAVE DOVE WITH AND MY MOST PREFERED.IT GIVES THE PROFESSIONAL DIVER LOOK AS I HAD IN THE ARMY.GOOD ALL ROUND VIEW.

While the high profile is a con it prevents rubbing on the bridge of the nose and gives a huge field of view. If you are having issues getting a mask to fit this is probly the solution!

I use it to vacuum 2 pools here in the water and also use it on vacation snorkeling. My old US Divers wore out and this is a perfect replacement. Even came with a plastic case.
