Aqua Lung has truly reinvented the mask with its new Micromask. This innovative mask will thrill scuba divers and free divers alike. The Micromask's revolutionary design has moved the lens closer to your eyes, closer than with any other mask. This offers you a vast field of vision, not to mention incredible visual clarity. Because the lenses are so close to your eyes, the mask is very low-profile, making it easy to clear and keeping it from becoming an obstacle as you maneuver through the water.

In addition to the lens design, the Aqua Lung engineers revisited the mask strap. The double jointed mask buckles rotate up and down, as well as in an out;this allows you to find the prime fit for you, regardless of your head shape. The push button release mechanism makes adjusting the strap simple, even with bulky dive gloves.

Good fit, low volume and great vis. help make this mask my favorite so far. The low volume helps with clearing (not that I had to do much) and the good fit makes it comfortable. The up close lens at made me feel like I was not even wearing a mask at all. I would recommend this mask to anyone.

I am a cold water diver, Asian, 5'6 and 116 lbs. This is the 3rd mask I have purchased since Apr 2009 and the only one that has all the following: has good fit, does not leak at all, does not shift on my face, easy to reach my nose to equalize my ears and easy to clear. A perfect mask to own. Highly recommended.

Ordered this micromask as a backup for the one which I already own. Nice compact mask with good view. Easy to clear. Also looks cool when wearing it unlike masks which obscure your whole face. Small lenses close to eyes also make it easy to pinch nose when equalizing.

I'm happy I went to a low profile mask, it makes clearing much easier. The skirt is also smaller, so I don't get as many leaks as I did with my old mask. It does seem to fog easily, but I'm going to try cleaning the lenses again to see if that will cure the problem. Other than that, this is a great mask at a great price.

My new favorite mask. The lowest volume that I have seen yet...it appears to have almost no volume. Very comfortable, sits very close to the eyes, has a great field of view, & strap adjustment feature is nice. I tried an OmerSub mask, but this one fit a lot better & had a better field of view. I liked the silicone skirt on this mask better than the Omer, as the Omer had a pretty thin skirt. Highly recommend.

I purchased this mask because I have issues every time I rent dive gear. The masks never fit my petite asian face. I am 5 ft tall and 105lbs. I could fit kids gear. I like this this mask as it worked on the first try. Straps are easy to adjust and it was very comfortable. This was worth the price.

Was a little worried about ordering online because I'm a big guy and was worried it wouldn't fit my face. But though it looks like a pair of goggles compare to some other masks I've had, it fits great.

I've been dealing with a leaking mask for the last two years and had forgotten how great it is to peek under a ledge from above without water sloshing up my nose or in my eyes.
This mask is my first low volume type and take a little getting used to from the standpoint of letting water in to clear any fogging. Just a little water will fill the mask to your eyes. But with a little no fog, I can get a good seal and not have to readjust and clear thru my whole dive as I was starting to get used to doing.

I poured over dozens of masks before deciding on this one. Definitely a great choice. Whether I was in the pool or in the river, this mask worked great. It was easy to clear in just half a breath, with me being a new diver that was great. I didn't have time to worry about water being in my mask still since it cleared so quickly. Also the clarity was good. I could see all the little fish very clearly and water only entered my mask after a laughing fit underwater at my dive buddy's antics. All in all, a really good investment.

Bought this mask and the field of vision and fit is amazing. I literally forget that I'm even wearing a mask sometimes. The lenses fit so close to your eyes that you see almost none of the skirt and the profile is so minimal that there is near zero drag. It fits me amazingly well, but for some people it's too small. So I'd recommend checking it out in person before buying online.

I have a small face and thought mask was great becuase it is rather small. However, i think it is too small for me because when i smile under water, water gets inside the mask. I believe the piece of rubber that is in contact with skin is too small for me.
I would advice to try it under water first. It is good for people with small faces.

compact design makes it fit nicely under/within the facehole of my hood without alot of hood manuevering.
On the downside I have long eyelashes & the lense is right there so if the strap is too tight, everytime I blink, my eyelashes drag the glass. It took some work to get the strap figured just right,in fact it feels loose but still seals nicely. This is the 1st mask that I have NOT replaced the factory strap on. I like the strap design on the back of the head. I own 3 masks & this one is my primary. The scuba pro goes in a pocket & the mares hides away for a a worst case scenario.

great mask for hockey. i would switch the strap to a camping strap (as with every other mask), but otherwise its perfect. mine has taken big kicks and pucks straight at the lens without caving in or breaking.

Masks don't better than this. I've purchased about a dozen masks in the past year and a half trying to find one that fits this well. I haven't had so much as a trickle of water get into the mask. The closeness of the lens to the face makes it easy for aging eyes to focus on close objects (no magnifier lens needed). I can see where a good fit on a large face might be a challenge. I've given several of these masks to friends and they love the mask too.

I've been diving for 13 years and this is the best mask I've owned. I bought one for my 10 year old son when he was getting is Junior OW cert. The low volume lets him clear this mask in less than a full exhale. I tried it in the pool and really liked the range of vision. So I ordered one for myself. The skirt is really soft and comfortable as well.

this is a great back up mask its compact its not that expensive i got mine for 70 bucks. and its field of vision is great it almost rivals my atomic frameless. it hugs your face and it almost feels like its not there i would recomend this for young divers just starting out

I recently switched to this mask from my Atomic Ultraclear, the field of vision is great and the low volume makes the mask feel as if it's not even on your face. It is also very easy to clear. If you haven't tried one try it it may become your favorite mask.

Simply the best mask I've ever used. Superb field of vision - lenses are very close to the eyes - tiny volume. While freediving I half flooded it at 10 meters, cleared it and still stayed down another 30 seconds. This is a beautifully designed mask.

FYI - there is no diff between the original 'marina' and the micromask. The mask took off on europe to technisub had to retool to meet demand - design and materials are identical.

Very small skirt - try before you buy.

I've been using the Euro version of the mask for over a year now- The Marina. I am SO glad that Aqualung, finally, decided to import it into the States. It's just about the best freediving mask I've ever used.

The only downside is the Cardandic(sp?) buckle that Aqualung put on it. This thing is VERY delicate and I have broken mine once already. Aqualung sent me a new one for free, but I was unable to use it on vacation as a result- instead I had to use one of my back-up masks.

Aside from the buckle issue the mask it top notch.
