The first thing I noticed about the Apollo mask is the high price. In fact, no other company offers a standard mask in this price range so it's safe to assume Apollo believes their masks are in a class by themselves and... they may be right. The Apollo has an oversized and very soft skirt which gave me a perfect, water-tight fit (no more tightening the strap to try to keep water out) and the pliability and size of the skirt should allow correct fit for a wide range of faces. Field of vision is good due to its low profile but not as good as some tri-lens style masks. Contrary to some claims, this mask is like any other and will occasionally fog up so remember to bring along some de-fog. I think Apollo's main goal with this mask was comfort and boy do they deliver- this is easily the most comfortable mask I've used. Bottom line: Perfect leak-free fit and comfortability; this mask will be very hard to improve on.

Very comfortable mask. I have a face that just about all masks fit, but it does seem that it will fit smaller faces well. Very low volume, but lens are smaller so it has not as great a field of view as masks with larger lens.

This is the mask that not only fits me perfectly but also gives me the optimum combination of range of vision and low volume of all masks I have tried. I first thought it was way hyped and overpriced. Well, it could still be cheaper, but the quality speaks for itself. Due to what I do in the water, be it training folks in advanced environments or utilizing a whole host of additional gear, I expect superior performance and reliability of all pieces of gear I carry.
