The CompuMask is not just about having a computer in your mask it is about the many practical benefits provided by truly "Hands-Free" diving.

The CompuMask contains a miniature liquid crystal display (LCD) panel, proprietary Digital Optic System, microprocessor, depth transducer, wireless cylinder pressure receiver, diver replaceable battery, and controlling software. The miniature LCD allows you to keep your eyes focused on the dive while presenting critical dive data including: current depth, elapsed dive time, cylinder pressure, and dive time remaining. The Digital Optic System provides a clear, highly magnified image of the LCD, which is viewable regardless of environmental conditions and may be seen clearly by the vast majority of people, regardless of vision.

The CompuMask HUD Wristwatch PDC is a sophisticated Personal Dive Computer featuring AERIS' wireless air integration technology. A transmitter threaded into the first stage high-pressure port continuously sends cylinder pressure data to the wristwatch. Frequencies are individually coded to allow multiple divers to swim side by side without interference with other units. Because the transmitter and display module are independent and separately powered units, themask may also be easily used as a standalone, non-air integrated dive computer.

The CompuMask HUD provides accurate depth and time with an amazing 1-second sampling rate for subsequent PC download and analysis. Dive Time is displayed inseconds and minutes. Custom audible alarms include Elapsed Dive Time, Countdown Timer and (3) Independent Max Depth Alarms. The CompuMask HUD is the first Free Diving Computer to calculate and track Nitrogen Tissue Loading, allowing you to switch between SCUBA divers and Free Dives on the same dive day.

You're at 80 feet with 1300 psi remaining in your cylinder - how long before youneed to begin an ascent to a shallower depth? Our patented Air Time Remaining feature calculates your current depth, breathing rate, cylinder pressure, ascenttime, and decompression status to tell you exactly how much time you can remain underwater. The CompuMask HUD's primary dive mode always displays approximate Air Time Remaining in 10 minute increments. Dive Time Remaining, like Air Time Remaining provides a 'real' number in minutes, considering Air Time Remaining, Nitrogen and Oxygen absorption, and automatically displays whichever allows lesstime.

The 'Turn-Around' Pressure Alarm is a unique patent-pending feature that allows you to pre-program an audible reminder when you reach 1000 to 3000 psi in 250 psi increments. This helps ensure that you return to your exit point with plentyof air. Take the AERIS challenge: When shopping for a new dive computer, comparethe displays. When it comes to viewing critical information, which would you rather see at 100 feet? The CompuMask HUD features a variety of system and user-customized audible alarms, alerting you to situations that pose a potentialdanger, or simply serve as a convenient reminder.

Have you ever had difficulty hearing your computer's audible alarm? Perhaps thatlittle beep signifying a potentially dangerous situation was timed perfectly with your exhaust bubbles rushing past your ears. Or maybe it seemed insignificant as that huge manta ray soared overhead. You won't miss the CompuMask HUD's audible alarm. Once triggered, the alarm will sound continuouslyfor 10 seconds. We know what you're thinking. "That's nice, I'll definitely hearthe alarm, but isn't that going to annoy me and everyone else in the water?" We thought of that too. The alarm's job is to get your attention so that you look at the computer. Once it does that, simply press the button and it will stop. You're a responsible diver and the CompuMask HUD treats you that way.

The CompuMask HUD acts simply as an 'Air' computer until you tell it otherwise, whether that is this weekend or 2 years down the road. When the Conservative Factor is set to On, the no-decompression limit times are reduced to values equivalent to those that would be available at the next higher 3000 foot (915 meter) altitude. Our tissue loading bar graphs provide complete control of your margin of safety for each dive. Want to be a bit more cautious? Make it a personal rule to never enter into the caution zone; or stay one or more pixel away. Now you can even program several of our PDCs to do it for you with our patent pending Nitrogen Bar Graph Alarm; set it once and let the CompuMask HUD alert you when your bar graph reaches that level.

An audible and visual alarm reminds you as you approach your programmed no decompression safety stops depth and an automatic timer counts down to zero. As in any other dive mode, you still have access to other pieces of information, and there is no penalty should you choose to disregard the safety stop. Speed through menu items and set modes easily and quickly with AERIS' FastSet Menu andintuitive button operation. The CompuMask HUD features time of day on the surface as well as underwater for quick reference. Time and date stamp also helps you to easily identify specific dives in Log Mode or PC download memory.

These are just some of the functional features of the CompuMask HUD Computer others are Alphanumeric Display, Automatic Altitude Compensation, Diver-Replaceable Batteries, Battery Hot Swap, 24-Hour Fly Countdown and Calculated De-saturation Time, Depth-Dependent Ascent Rate, Adjustable OceanGlo¦Backlighting, 24 Dive On-Unit Log Book, History Mode, Gauge Mode, and Split Set Mode Access.

Comments about Aeris Aeris CompuMask HUD (Heads Up Display) Hoseless Nitrox Dive Computer with Transmitter:

Just over a year ago i bought this mask for my light caribbean/travel rig. Up north i dive a rebreather and can't use it. I got it just before a trip to jamaica 2010. Never opened it up, changed the battery or anything, just set the the time, date and the personal preferences. Within a few minutes of the first dive the computer screen in the eyepiece flooded and shorted out. when i got back to the states my dealer and the Aeris rep took back the mask and replaced it with a new one. Its now my annual Jamaica dive trip 2011 and i've just gotten off of the dive boat and the same thing happened again within 5 minutes of splashing in on the first tank of the day. As with the first i never opened it up or anything, I never needed to they come with bats installed and neither mask / computer lasted more than 5 mins in the water.

I love my HUD mask. It took a few dives to get used to the display and to break the habbit of looking down at my wrist. Now i would not dive with out it. Fantastic product easy to use. The future of diving in your face.

Comments about Aeris Aeris CompuMask HUD (Heads Up Display) Hoseless Nitrox Dive Computer with Transmitter:

Everyone that saw it was impressed on my trip to Aruba - especially me!

Having all the info at a glance was so convenient... not that having to look down at a console is a major chore, but it's similar to the difference between using a bluetooth headset, and holding your phone up to your ear.

One drawback was the night dive... when you shut off your lights to look at the bioluminescence you'll need to shut one eye to get the full effect since the backlight will be on when you're in the water.

Comments about Aeris Aeris CompuMask HUD (Heads Up Display) Hoseless Nitrox Dive Computer with Transmitter:

I have had this mask for a little less than a year and I LOVE it!! It's great to have everything you need at a glance. Put the thransmitter on the right side of your first stage to keep them linked. The only thing it's missing is a digital compass, but I can't complain. I have used the mask in the quarry, pool and ocean diving in the Caymans and has hasn't let me down.
