The Aladin Prime is an easy to use, compact, multi-function instrument designed for decompression and nitrox dives. It is shown herein a console with an analog pressure gauge. Besides all the functions you'd expect in a dive computer of this caliber, the Prime hasthese special features:
  • Usable with nitrox mixes from 21 to 50%
  • Water contact activation can be turned on or off
  • Audible warnings can be turned off
  • Desaturation reset
  • Safety stop timer
  • Dive planner for decompression dives
  • Tissue saturation graphic
  • 25 hours of dive profile storage at 4 second sampling rate
  • Infrared dive profile transfer to Smart Trak software on PC
  • Battery life indicator
  • User replaceable battery
  • During dive, user can toggle through max depth, temperature, time of day and the tissue saturation graphic as well as activate the backlight
Watch functions include:
  • 12 or 24 hour clock
  • Wake-up alarm
  • Date and time zone shift for traveling divers
The Analog Pressure Gauge tracks pressures from 0 to 6000 psi and is color coded red from 500 to 0 psi.

After having working in a dive center for years I have noticed that this computer does it all economically and effectively. Seeing hundreds of this computer being used for rental as well as customers purchasing their own models, I have not seen a simpler computer that gets better results from its users. It has an easy display to read, and it is easy to adjust the settings (PROVIDED YOU READ THE MANUAL).

I bought the computer based on the advice of my LDS, excellent computer, learning curve was about three days for the basic information, set time, dates logged dive info...etc. however the computer's potential is very high, so as I grow in my experience as a diver and certifications the computer is set up to have everything I will need without spending additional $
