While others use scratch prone plastic lenses and distortion prone plastic cases OMS uses only scratch resistant tempered glass lenses and non-distorting brass cases. The Gauge uses high precision Bourdon tube technology. Gauge Graphics are color coded Red, Yellow and Green. Red section is from 0 to 500psi (50 bars) for Safety Reserve Air, Yellow 1000 to 1500 (100 bars), and Green up to 5000 psi (350 bars) Ifyou dive with Imperial or Metric this pressure gauge is what you are looking for. Gauge comes equipped with a plastic boot and 32" hose.

This is the best SPG, mostly because it looks cooler than all the others and is from OMS. Someone told me that all SPG's come from the same factory in Italy and just have different brand names on them. Anyway, it has PSI AND Bars!

Just use a bowl of boiling water to heat up the boot and it will slide over the hose no problem.

I have been through 4 sets of regs and this is ALWAYS the SPG that I go with. It is very well built and maintains its accuracy very well. It has both BAR and PSI which is awesome if you travel. When I went to egypt I was covered as they were diving in BAR and I was trained in PSI. Highly recommend and the LP price is lowest I have found by $25.00

Pressure gauges eventually fail, usually by getting sticky and not smoothly dropping as tank pressure drops. At that point you need a replacement and this is perfect. Inexpensive, rugged and reliable.

This is a NICE SPG. Nice solid construction, easy to read face. Only drawbacks are it is a little thick compared to say the Zeagle units, and the plastic impact cover is a hard to install over a standard high pressure hose swivel.

The best part about the SPG is that it is oxygen serviced and good to go with any Deco mix I wish to use. Primary role for my SPG's are my Deco stage bottles. There are no down points to this item as it is made by OMS a great leader in the technical diving department.

Love the gauge, even though the boot was a bit of a bear to get on. I'm disappointed in the hose provided though, it only lasted 4 dives before it started to bubble.

It's OMS, so quality is not an issue here at all.

Only negative is that there were no instructions included for assembling the gauge to the hose (it's not hard, but there should have been instructions for safety's sake).

Small and compact, easy to read, and cuts down on too many gages. With a dive computer, you really don't need an analog depth gage. Cut down on your weight and big gear, easily slip the gage into your waist band and nothing trailing along like tentacles and hitting the reef...

This OMS gauge is just perfect for me in this side of the world. Living in Okinawa, Japan and diving with Americans and Japanese I couldn't ask for a more reliable SPG than this one right here. Especially since both countries use different systems (metric and imperial).

But if flooded after less then a year of use (diving twice a week) I called OMS and they said the warenty is invalid if either (1) it was used without the rubber boot or (2) It was purchase on-line. It doesn't get any simpler than a brass tank pressure gauge. The readout is a bit small so best for use with a short 3" hose on a deco/pony bottle.

I bought this pressure gauge w/hose and insert for my pony bottle configuration. I had to assemble the gauge to the hose by placing the insert inside each piece. I felt a need to contact [...] support to make sure that I was doing it right. They confirmed what seemed logically correct to me. However, during my second dive with it to 110 fsw, a dive buddy noticed small bubbles coming from the gauge/hose connection. Back aboard ship, I disassembled the hose and gauge and coated appropriate parts of the insert with silicone grease and reassembled the pieces. The problem went away. I don't believe there were any assembly instructions with the gauge/hose/insert. I would have preferred that they were there with instructions to silicone grease the insert before inserting into the hose and gauge.

This pressure guage is cool for international travels, providing metric and imperial measure. However, this guage requires the seals be changed out a couple of times per year because the o rings fail regularly. I like the guage enough to tolerate its leaking, so I change the seals about once every 4 to 6 months and always carry the necessary wrenches and extra o rings becasue its gonna leak.
