Comments about Genesis Genesis "Resource Pro" In-Line Computer Console with Compass, CG2259:

Bought this computer in 1996 as a new diver. It finally died on me in 2010 after >150 dives. I'm an advanced, open water recreational diver that goes on at least one week long trip per year, sometimes two. This computer worked great for me the entire time I had it. My husband also has one and his is still going strong. I am buying a new one of this same model since this is a great price and I'm already familiar with how it works. The only thing that is a little difficult is when you are accessing your dive log info, you have to hold the button in order to "freeze" it on a dive so you can record it in your log... if your finger or thumb gets tired and slips off the button, you have to start all over.

Comments about Genesis Genesis "Resource Pro" In-Line Computer Console with Compass, CG2259:

I had no problems with the computer. I'm not a very experienced diver, a few years with a one week dive vacation per year in warm, clear water. The main function I was looking for was the deco time, surface interval and time to fly. I got all of that. I did have a hard time deciphering the imformation that was displayed on the surface. I sat with a dive master and he explained a lot of it. I did not feel that the manual was adequate. The price was great.

Comments about Genesis Genesis "Resource Pro" In-Line Computer Console with Compass, CG2259:

Resource Pro worked as advertised...what more can you ask for. It did, however, arrive with a dead battery.

Service & Delivery comments:

Dead battery situation was corrected with a quick call to Leisure Pro. Battery delivered in 24 hours. Just another lesson learned about checking your gear early wnough to correct discrepancies. And then there was the battery replacement...called tech support as removing and replacing the battery is trickier than the manual indicates. Tech Support guy was GREAT! He understood the problem and walked me through the process on the toll free telephone call. He laughed and commiserated and wasn't condescending in the least! Great service all around! I'd support LeisurePro with my business all of the time!

Comments about Genesis Genesis "Resource Pro" In-Line Computer Console with Compass, CG2259:

I am very happy with this computer. It is very easy to use both above and below the surface. Numbers are large and easy to read. Has everything you need and nothing you don't. the compass is an added bonus.

Only con is the provided battery needed to be replaced after about 25 dives. the user manual states that the battery should live for more than 150 dives.

Otherwise a great recreational computer.

Comments about Genesis Genesis "Resource Pro" In-Line Computer Console with Compass, CG2259:

I love this computer! Easy to use, easy to read, and has all the functions a recreational diver needs. i researched many computers and found this one to be the best for my buck. Built in compass is a big plus. I highly recommend it!! only gripe is the battery is apparently going dead after only 30 dives. manual says battery life should span 150 dives.

Comments about Genesis Genesis "Resource Pro" In-Line Computer Console with Compass, CG2259:

the last one I bought was about 10 years ago, and it still works as my spare computer. It is easy to use and needs no maint. except cleaning and batteries. the new one uses a different battery, but the unit still works the same as the old one,and is very easy to read.I dont use any special gasses, just compressed air, so this one works fine.I use it in freshwater springs and lakes or salt water with no difference. PS-my brother still has one ,and it still works fine.
