Comments about Aqualung Suunto "Vyper" Air/Nitrox 2 Gauge Computer Console:

Very easy to use after a quick review of the owner's manual (mine came in English unlike other reviews I read). Went diving about a month after getting it and the lami quick reference card was great for a quick refresher before the dive. Very easy to push the buttons underwater and easy to understand/read while using. Exactly what I was looking for in a recreational dive computer, much better than my previous Mares computer that sprung a leak and died.

Service & Delivery comments:

I would definiatly buy from LeisurePro again. Very quick delivery, everything was packaged well and arrived in great condition. Not to mention the great price.

Comments about Aqualung Suunto "Vyper" Air/Nitrox 2 Gauge Computer Console:

Very easy to use and operate. Not overly conservative but not as aggressive as some computers I have seen. I had about 2 minutes less than my dads computer at 100 feet on our first dive and after 3 dives he had about 5 minutes more at 100 feet. That extra time would have been nice.

Comments about Aqualung Suunto "Vyper" Air/Nitrox 2 Gauge Computer Console:

This is my 1st computer Ive owned. Ive done many dives without a computer and I am glad I made the decision to get this one. So far I have over 40 dives on it and it has preformed flawlessly! The display is easy to read and the functions and menus are straight foward. I took it straight out of the box and learned it without the manual in less than a 1/2 hour of playing around. The data is (depth/temp/time ect.) is spot on accurate. Overall I am very impressed with the way it looks and preforms. I would reccomend it to any diver that is looking for a straight foward and reliable copmuter.

Comments about Aqualung Suunto "Vyper" Air/Nitrox 2 Gauge Computer Console:

An excellent and easy to use computer. One of the good features of this professional model is that the battery is user changeable. A big plus. This unit works beautifully, and I have had no problems with it at all. Highly recommended. The only minor thing, is that it came with an instruction manual that wasn't in English, and so was unreadable. I downloaded the manual from Google and printed it out. No big deal though.

Comments about Aqualung Suunto "Vyper" Air/Nitrox 2 Gauge Computer Console:

Fairly new to diving and wanted to get a computer before our dives in April. Borrowed a Gecko for my wife and I decided to get the Vyper. Didn't need the backlight but it was nice to know I had it. The Vyper has a thicker (more protective) strap than the gecko has. Overall we were happy with both.

Very useful backup 3 mode computer when set in gauge mode for Technical diving, as many other computers are 2 mode air/nitrox only. Would make a great primary nitrox computer for recreational divers. Typical easy to operate for those who have used Suunto computers. Nice big face and display. Great value at this price.

Comments about Aqualung Suunto "Vyper" Air/Nitrox 2 Gauge Computer Console:

The computer so far has worked as advertised. The only problem with buying this computer from leisurepro is they are NOT an approved dealer. Thus, Suunto will not extend a warranty to Suunto equipment purchased from Leisurepro. Suunto products not purchased from an authorized dealer are considered, by Suunto, to be "grey merchandise". Leisurepro is specifically mentioned on Aqualung's website...they own Suunto.

Comments about Aqualung Suunto "Vyper" Air/Nitrox 2 Gauge Computer Console:

I've done all kinds of diving over the years. Used to be a divemaster but now I'm more of an occasional fun diver. I was looking for a simple computer to make it easy to jump into the ocean at a minute's notice on air or nitrox. This one's small, solid, seems reliable so far, has a pretty intuitive user interface. Quite good really. I also wanted to be able to switch to gauge mode for a few extended range dives where the decompression algorithms in this one no longer apply. The only thing I might wish for is for it to go up to 100% O2, and on-the-fly switching between gases. But at this price point, it's good value for money.

Comments about Aqualung Suunto "Vyper" Air/Nitrox 2 Gauge Computer Console:

I bough two Vypers for me and my wife almost a year ago and we have 56 dives on it (both air and Nitrox). We never had a problem. The battery level is still full. The Vyper, like all Suunto computers, is more conservative than other computers and that's one of the reasons why I bought it. Another reason is the great price.

Comments about Aqualung Suunto "Vyper" Air/Nitrox 2 Gauge Computer Console:

The Suunto Vyper is overall a good computer, however my biggest complain about it is how hard it is to read. The display is not very bright and the contrast is poor. I also think it could be easier to operate. For my second computer I chose the Aeris T3 and have been much happier.

Comments about Aqualung Suunto "Vyper" Air/Nitrox 2 Gauge Computer Console:

I begin to use it during my advanced open water course and I like very much. All functions are very easy to access and understand. You can get in a few touches all functions.
You have main information on display during diving.
While diving with nitrox, I calculated my bottom time and max deep to check with the computer, and I get a most conservative information provided by vyper.
