These fins were decent, but a bit underpowered for drifting reefs will current. I will be dumping them for stiffer fins. I also like more power when diving for the bottom. They run large. I wear a size 11 Tusa boot/slipper. The Tusa M-LG fin still felt roomy, comfy enough however.

I dove Lanai, HI with these fins. They worked very well. Comfortable, powerful and efficient. I wouldn't wear these without dive boots, I don't think they would fit well without them. I also wore them snorkeling with the boots. They are probably too large and heavy to get just for snorkeling.

My first 12 dives I used a pair of fins my dad bought when he just got into diving. I ended up with cramps about 15 minutes in and continued to get them throughout the dive everytime. I have used these fins on my last 2 dives and have not gotten a single cramp. I can say that my kicks are more powerful, require much less work and i have more control. This has enabled me to dive longer as I'm not burning through my air as before.

I just want to point out that when I got this it felt really big even with boots on. I wear a size 9 and according to the sizing chart I should wear a medium(7-11). But when I tried it on I had to pull the strap all the way out and it was still loose. So I'm think I probably need a small(4-7)...scratching my head. So I returned this one (thanks to the easy return policy of LeisurePro) and got a Mares Raptor size small(6-9) instead ...its almost the same thing and their sizing are much more accurate.

These fins are great! I am a straight 7 in womens, and i wasn't sure about the sizing but the small fits really well on my feet and the adjustable strap is really smoothe for getting them off an on. I used to use an older model of Tusa fins that weren't the split design until a couple of my friends told me about these and they were certaintly right. As i do alot of snorkelling i was a bit unsure about whether they would be just as good for snorkelling as they are for scuba, but they were fine. They are light, give me the propulsion i need, they don't give me leg and foot cramps like my older fins and you basically can't even feel them on!

I used to own some cheapo fins that gave me hideous shin cramps when surface swimming (I do a lot of shore diving). I heard a rumor than split fins were more comfortable especially when doing long swims so when these were on sale in a package I decided to give them a try. I loved them. They're a great deal, way cheaper than some other split fins I've seen and they're really comfortable on those long swims. And you can go FAST! I'd accidentally leave people behind and have to stop for a bit to let them catch up. No more cramping, aching legs. My only complaint is they're a little big on me but I may have ordered a size too large, and they're a little annoying to loosen the straps, especially with cold fingers.

I read a lot of reviews before buying these fins. When I did, I was still a little skeptical about the reduction of stress on muscles and joints, but well, they were right. No more pain on my left knee the day after diving/snorkeling. Also, I could keep ahead of other divers easily. As with any split fins, try to keep the kicking angle small when swimming against currents. Last tip: try to get them in black, the black composite material is supposed to be more rigid.

Finally convinced my wife to get a pair. I'v had mine for 5 years and they have been used on more than 200 dives. The quick release buckle is great for removal. The fins help relieve leg strain as you can move effortlessly with a simple ankle kick or scissor style kick. Great control and good speed under water

These are really fast and easy for long surface swims, I do use the Hollis F1 fins too. Between the 2fins you're covered for all types of diving! The Hollis F1 does require leg strength where the TUSA doesn't. These are very comfortable and has a nice strap release.

This is a good split fin for its price, better than my Scubapro splits in general.

feels true to size, Great for those with bad knees or have a hard time kicking. Really, it's almost you aren't strained at all but you are moving quite quickly and pretty light.

The bad well it is very long , cumbersome on the bottom floor, does only flutter kicks, floppy, tends to slap the surface water and not stay submerged. Thrust is definitely not here.

If you want a split fin, this is great for its price.

I bought these fins for a trip to Bonaire. I actually prefer them to my Biofins. I found them more comfortable and for snorkeling they were much more efficient than the biofins. For diving, they were a bit stiffer than the Biofins but they were just as easy to "fin" and I had no problem with speed or manueverability. Highly recommended.

I've been using a pair of these fins for about 2 years now and I can honestly say that they are the MOST EFFICIENT and ERGONOMIC fins I've ever used in my 21 years of diving. I used to dive with ScubaPro Jetfins exclusively. Then I tried a pair of these on...
I had my doubts when I first saw these "new-fangled" split fins, but after I actually USED them for the first time, I couldn't believe the difference! Not only are they a FRACTION of the weight of my old fins, but they out-propel them hands down. And my days of leg cramping underwater are just about a distant memory too...
These fins are well suited for open water diving and for diving where some extra propulsion is needed(like kicking into a stiff current).
Bottom line is: Don't take my word for it- try on a pair for yourself.

While I haven't done a whole lot of diving, during the course of training and open water dives I have used several styles of fins. On my last dive I tried the SF-8 fins, and immediately contacted LeisurePro for a set. Minimum effort with great result. The most comfortable that I have worn(I always use boots), and I don't seem to get the leg fatigue I have with other fins. Great buy!

This is one of the best fins I have owner, and this is the second pair I picked up for myself. I also picked up a pair for my girlfriend, because you can't beat the price here. I marked that they fit about a half size big, but since I already knew this, it wasn't a problem for me, just something to be aware of when you are buying. The only way to describe using these fins is that it's like kicking with nothing on your foot, but you're moving along like you have the stiffest most efficient fin. They are amazing, and I definitely recommend them for anyone that has had knee/hip problems in the past.

Great for scuba, takes less effort to swim. The down side - standing on these angled fins on the bottom is an issues, walking in them is worse. Abit on the heavy side so consider the weight if you shore dive - best for boat dives. Leisure Pro gave me a fantastic deal. For the money these are great fins

I purchased these fins because I have an ankle that I broke a few years ago and regular fins hurt it after a while. They are stiffer than I had expected, but they will propel you with just a slight kick. I have enjoyed them so far, but after a while it still irritates my ankle. It is a good fin and less expensive than others. I find it works very well with short kicks and not giant flutter kicks.

I'm a Professional Dive Master in Maui, Hawaii, I use my Tusa X-pert Zoom fins everyday I dive. The rare occasional rough currents are of no issue using these fins, has lots of power with lot less effort than paddle or non-split fins. Tip: because of the downward angle of the fin minimize walking with them on, may cause undue pressure on insert in front of foot pocket.

I used these fins on a night dive with several friends. I had no problems zooming along and passing them whenever I wanted with minimal kick cycles. I love these fins and wouldn't trade them for anything. Oh and did I mention this dive was during a south swell with plenty of surge? I also loved how they felt on my feet. I used these fins for the first time on a night dive. Super sweet! With a building south swell, the surge was picking up. I had no problem passing all the other divers. I'm 6'3" and 245lbs. Pretty big. Kick cycles were minimal and moved me through the surge effortlessly. I loved how they fit and felt. I wear a size 13 shoe and I purchased the XL fins. I also wear booties. I have used these fins for a number of years for general SCUBA and spearfishing.. Last year, I lost one in heavy seas on a deep water diving trip. For some reason, all of the shops were out of the size/color I wanted, and I would up purchasing one, and then another, pair of competitors' highly touted fins. Neither brand compared with the TUSA X-Pert Zooms, and as soon as I found what I wanted I bought another pair. The angle of the fin makes surface swims a breeze, which also makes them ideal snorkeling fins.

Three other divers and myself, out of a group of six, wore these fins. Comming up out of a canyon we were blasted by a strong current. Those of us wearing the split fins could'nt swim the current. We had to dive back down into the canyon to avoid being swept away. The other divers wearing regular fins could have overcome the current. These fins are dangerous! I'm a strong swimmer in good shape. I have'nt worn them since that dive.

The open back design is a plus, especially with boots. Also if the strap rips you would only have to replace the strap. On my last fins the heel ripped so the fins had to be replaced. Very comfortable and easy to put on. Much less effort needed to swim than standard type fins I've had in the past. Definitely worth every penny!

Head and shoulders above the rest! The split fin and angled design reduces effort and they really mean it! The slightest little kick really "zooms" you forward, and with a small learning curve, you're able to maneuver much easier in the water using only your legs!

A diving buddy swears the expensive solid fins he bought a few years ago are the best they've ever made. But when I let him use my X-pert Zooms on one dive, he was sold and tried to steal them from me the rest of the trip. He's now an owner, too!

The only drawback - and keep this in mind when purchasing any split fin - is that although they are FANTASTIC in relatively calm water, they do require more effort than a solid fin when swimming against a strong current. Not sure how the physics work on that, but it's true. Still, they're the best fins I've ever owned and definitely worth the extra few dollars. Cheaper when purchased as part of a package.

Every time I dive people ask "do those split things work?" These are by far the best fins Ive every used. I have problems with cramps but these provide ease when snorkeling, spearfishing, and diving. I got a pair because my wife hurt her knee and I got them because I have a bad back. They worked just like everyone said they would. Good movement without the extreme effort. If you can afford these fins you should get them. They cost more then regualr fins but that's the only knock against them. The value is there.

These fins are fantastic. I did a lot of reading about split vs single blade fins before I purchased. I would have to now be in the category of people who have tried and love split fins - I think it is a myth that they are not efficient or quick. My partner has Plana Avanti Quattro fins and I don't have a problem with speed against him. They are so effortless and quite effective with even with the flick of your ankle! They also tend to stir up the bottom LESS! I will stay with splits in future and these are a great fin to start with! Quality materials and fin straps also!

These fins are awesome!!! So efficient, smooth, easy to use, there is simply no better fin out there. I wouldn't recommend them for snorkeling, but they certainly could be used for this as well. They're so easy to put on and off, and i noticed a considerable amount of energy saved just from using these fins. Buy them, it's definitely worth it.

The size chart says the mediums fit mens size 7-11. In addition, it says to add one size if you are using hard sole boots. I wear mens size 8 and was using the Tusa Imprex hard soled boots and I would not recommend the medium size fins with anything smaller. Without the boots, my feet would drown in these fins. For soft soled boots, I would rather have the small size zoom fins. The foot pocket does seem to have a little extra room in terms of width, so it's clear that they can handle bigger hard soled boots than my size 8's. I'm sure they can handle size 9 boots, and probably 10's.

As for the fins in the water....haven't used them that much yet, but they seem fine. I was a little worried that the foot pocket might be too loose in terms of width, but I haven't noticed that. They are heavy weight and seem well constructed. My medium's weight 2 lbs, 3 oz. each. That's still less than Apollo's, but a lot more than my Oceanic Caribe full foots.

These fins are very nice. I used them multiple times a day recently in the Caymans and never had a problem. Weather you're kicking as hard as you can or just gliding, they were never uncomfortable.

Not OK for racing underwater. But to go at SCUBA speeds it gets you moving at half the effort (and air). Very, and I mean VERY easy on you feet and very directional.

Overall, I am very happy with this split fin, I share it with my daughter who is a size 7, I am a size 8.5. It fits both our boots. The buckles are easy to get in and out of. I move faster in these and easy helicopter turns vs Mares Volo paddle fin. Paddle fin is easier for moving backwards but I cramp less in split fin.

These run a little big which is ok if you are wearing a booty. TRY THEM ON BEFORE YOU BUY! I like the velocity I get from them. They really move in the water. They lose a little power in a STRONG current, but seem to work well in a moderate current for me. They look really cool, too!

These work well for both snorkeling and scuba, for both weaker and stronger swimmers, and for short and longer stroke/legged people. This is the third pair for use by our recreational snorkeling and diving family, and I'd probably go buy them again if I needed to. This particular pair was purchased for my 13yr old daughter who gave them a 5 star rating.

The advertizing makes these fins look like the best thing since sliced bread. The are OK, but I have gotten better propulsion from non-split fins.

I love these fins - very comfortable and very efficient. Only con is that due to their pre-curved shape, they are a little more difficult to pack in a suitcase.

These fins have very little resistance and I glide through the water almost effortlessly. It is very easy to control speed and because I use less energy, I use less air

Using only for recreational diving in warm water and it works perfect. I do like split fins and never come back to regular ones anymore. Maybe you can find better ones, but not for the same price.

I already owned Tusa's in a smaller size but they were difficult to get on/off with treaded boots. These work great and have become my new usual fins. I already sold the others.

Very confortable to use, helps in preventing fatigue. Recomended for all scuba uses. Snorkleing not the best fins since it has split fins, but underwater is great.

Once you get a pair your buddies will constantly be crying "slow down - I cant keep up". The efficiancy of these are excellent and less effort for more forward motion makes for a happy diver - unless your the buddy without a pair!!!

A great SCUBA fin! Reduces muscle fatigue greatly compaired to a solid fin. I do not recommend this or any angled fin for snorkling. Excellent for any kind of diving. Have one pair for work and one for rec!

Comfortable fin, average power. Not recommended for snorkeling because the blade angle makes it a little awkward on the surface.

I have tried many,many brands and styles of fins but have yet to find one as good as my zooms. I swear by these things. I would not trade mine for any fin on the market right now. I work for a dive shop and I have tried most all of the fins on the market too!!!
