The only problem with the mites in my case is that the number 12 Mares boot boot is very difficult for there to accommodate the larger flounder XL. Otherwise, good and good painduvusega mites in cold water (3C).

I searched for the right product at the right price. Leisurepro won out...hands down. [...]The fins are perfect. I'm a female, 5'ft 4" and have been diving for 20 years. These fins are lightweight and powerful in the water. I wanted them for free diving deep holes in tough current for lobster and they give me the performance I require.

I bought a pair of these for my son to go with his Blue Reef boots and all I can say is "wow" ! He is constantly telling me how great they feel, and how he just glides through the water with them. As soon as my fins (Dacor) wear down a bit more - I am going to buy a pair of these for myself =)

I use them with a 5mm boot and its a perfect fit. Im a 9.5 size and after easily adjusting the straps, it is very comfortable and snug with no wasted movement. Glad I made this choice and cannot beat the price.

I bought these fins for my son who is newly certified. He loves them ! They are not too stiff (great for a beginner) yet not so flexible that he has no control. He raves so much about them that I am sad that I didn't buy a set for myself ! I will definitely get a pair as soon as I am able to...

I like Tusa Products, Just not this one. It's really cheap so if you can't spare another dollar these will work. I found them to become more flexible after 10 hrs of use or so. I used my brothers Tusa Split fins - Xpert Zoom. I wish I hadn't been so cheap. Those are the fins you need to buy. Twice as fast as these, no complants on them. Don't make the mistake of being cheap or be too stuburn to try split fins.

I have owned this set of fins for approximatley 1 year. I have log 20 plus dives on these fins including a dive on the USS Oriskany. My fins still look like they are new. There are very few scratched and deformations. Great fin for the price. I will probably keep this set and by wife a pair. Great Fin.

Very nice to wear, don't feel them at all under water, they just do what I want them too. Used 5 mm boots with it, and it fits perfectly. Have 16 dives with it, and i'm a beginner with just 10 dives before so maybe there is other that works better. But I will not replace this :-)
Good service and help in the showroom, NY

Comments about Tusa Tusa Imprex Open Heel Fins (SF-8800/SF-7700/SF-9900):
This is my 3rd pair. They're easily good for 300+ dives. Over time, the plastic will deform a little and eventually the side rail cracks just past the foot pocket, [$] I have 800+ dives logged and do tech dives with these fins! Ignore the hype about stainless steel springs, split fins, and every other gimmick that they use to sell $200 fins to newbies. This is all that you ever need. If your legs cramp or get tired, you need to eat more potassium (bannans) or get more exercise. Pricy fins won't help.

Comments about Tusa Tusa Imprex Open Heel Fins (SF-8800/SF-7700/SF-9900):
Straps are simple and work great after 300+ dives and days of snorkeling. Time for a second pair, these are scuffed? Foot pockets are narrow great for lightweight std. warm water boots, but not dry suit or rock boots. Good propulsion for little effort. More effort more speed. This fin is better than any split fin and at 1/4 of price. Not too stiff not too weak, just right with very little chance of leg cramps. Good for snorkeling and better for diving. As "Entry level Tech Diver" said previously all plastic hybrid fins wear out around 300 dives. Mine are becoming more flexible less propulsion after the ten years. As I look for a better fin its hard to find. Mares Quattro was the same as this for propulsion. I still look for the great fin that is lightweight and not heavy rubber at a low cost. May be this is still the only one.
Comments about Tusa Tusa Imprex Open Heel Fins (SF-8800/SF-7700/SF-9900):
Purchased for a snorkeling trip to Cozumel. They were realy too stiff for snorkeling. My friends had more flexible fins and were doing fine. I was struggling with these. They were fine once I dove down a few feet but trying to force the fins down while staying on top of the water was very difficult.

Comments about Tusa Tusa Imprex Open Heel Fins (SF-8800/SF-7700/SF-9900):
These fins seemed effecient and acceptable quality for the price. I wear a true size of 9 in mens and with boots of course the fins had a great fit.
Comments about Tusa Tusa Imprex Open Heel Fins (SF-8800/SF-7700/SF-9900):
These are good fins, but are just that... good. Not great, or fantastic. They feel wide on my feet, especially when not wearing boots. I wear a different pair for warm water dives. Since most of my dives take me to Monterey, these do the trick, but are still heavy and clunky until in the water. Once in the water they work nicely and took no more than normal effort. For the price, they are worth it.

Here's a product that has stood the test of time. Not to stiff, not too weak. Mine have lasted well for over four years.
Don't confuse Imprex with the cheap beginner-class fins that often appear in dive shops. I use these often at 120 feet.
Get yours.

Great set of fins. I'm transitioning from snorkeling to diving and I can't believe the difference in these fins from my snorkel fins.
Comments about Tusa Tusa Imprex Open Heel Fins (SF-8800/SF-7700/SF-9900):
Very comfortable fins - good propulsion, easy swimming for both SCUBA and snorkeling. These fins will accommodate a number of different boot types and are VERY easy to put on and take off due to the excellent strap adjusting and release system. Great buy and probably at least as good (or better) than many fins costing much more $$. I liked them so much that I bought my wife a pair.
Comments about Tusa Tusa Imprex Open Heel Fins (SF-8800/SF-7700/SF-9900):
The rubber flexible part at the ends of these fins make them easy to work with - just the right stiffness. My feet are not too thick (top to bottom) so the fins are just a hair big right up on the top of my foot. Some thicker boots or thicker soles could probably remedy that but otherwise great fins.

For new divers, $200 fins are a running joke in the diving community. You DON'T need them! Fancy looking gimicks are just more stuff to break. This is a great fin for the newly certified diver. That said, all plastic fins will wear out in 200-300 dives, which is why the military and tech divers stick with rubber fins, like the scubapro jet. (those suckers are heavy though)I'm debating buying my 3rd set, or going to rubber fins. I have ~700 dives logged now.Split fins are good if you are over 40 or prone to leg cramping, but they are not good if you need ankle weights or want to frog kick, so I avoid them.

Good for diving. A bit to long for snorkeling.

I had ordered a size too large, I called before my fins even got to me,These people had another pair to me before I left for vacation!!awesome service Thanks

Geat fin for warm weather diving. The fins work great with standard boots. I also dive in a drysuit and have some bigger rock boots and the fins will not fit over these. The sizing does not accomadate anything large enough for these boots. All in all a great fin for the price for the rec diver.

Comments about Tusa Tusa Imprex Open Heel Fins (SF-8800/SF-7700/SF-9900):
Great quality, fit, and performance at a very reasonable price. Easy to put on/ take off. Easy to adjust straps. They fit my boots great-- no pressure points. They are long and awkward to enter the water with but the payoff is the power once in the water. Better for SCUBA than snorkeling.

This fins are great. You do not need to spend hundreds of $$ on splits, etc...I don't think we are down there to exercise anyways. These fins are good enough for any occasion: you need power? you get, you need speeed? you get, you need comfort? you get. From 2mm to Dry suit boot, it'll provide good fit. Good fins and good price.

Comments about Tusa Tusa Imprex Open Heel Fins (SF-8800/SF-7700/SF-9900):
I have owned these fins since 1994 shortly after they came out, before split fins where popular and so last year I upgraded to a pair of split fins. I researched reviews on the web and in dive magazines and chose the best for the money the “Arises Velocity duo fins” and found them well made and a good fit, but I was not getting the speed, thrust or control that I was accustomed to with the old TUSA fins???? At first, I thought that maybe, I had not adjusted to them and so I gave them more time…nope… it was the spilt fins…. So I tried the old TUSA fins on my second dive one day and I thought ahhhhh!!! there you are old friends… Speed, Thrust and Control… :) Now maybe if you spend $200 or $300 on some split fins you might be happy, but I am not going to spend that much to find out.
However, the split fins are better for snorkeling and so that’s what I use them for now. I’m going to buy 2 pairs of these TUSA Imprex fins in case TUSA ever stops making them!
