The gray graphite model is excellent for snorkeling, lighter weight than the other colors with great thrust for free diving. The pressure is on the back of the leg with almost no wobble, so if you have knees problems this is the fin for you. It may seem heavier than other snorkeling fins, but in the water is slightly buoyant, and the design makes it more powerful than other fins I've tried.

I have used a pair of these from a friend for 2 trips to Bonaire and loved them. I decided to purchase a pair for myself and would recommend these fins. They are less effort for me than my Dacor Tigers.

I used to have the mares fins, it was durable, 3 years and still working very well, but when i started to use the twin fin from scuba pro, i hated my years with that mares fins, it is so easy now.It saves with air fills because you get less tired. i recommend!

Comments about Scubapro Scubapro "Twin Jet" Open Heel Split Fins:
I ave actually owned the black ones like the picture shows. The good well It is very durable even inside a hot car trunk. The thrust is better than a number of split fins in the market. Surface swimming is surprisingly good.
They do run a tad big from what I am used to. These are extremely heavy, you do feel it's weight in the water, too. Don't expect to fight current with these as it doesn't work all too well. Very difficult to don when you are waist high under water. The buckles are extremely hard to click in especially, with gloves. Get spring straps. Not a travel fin.
It's an ok split fin, try others before you settle with this one.

Comments about Scubapro Scubapro "Twin Jet" Open Heel Split Fins:
Excellent fins for the recreational Scuba Diver, especially when first starting out. Their easy to use and place minimal strain on your legs so great for preventing cramps. Which is a big plus considering the amount of diving i do. Every time I teach a scuba class I have my students try them out and inevitably they want a pair. I have 2 pairs the blue and black, the blue pair are softer and slightly positively buoyant great for all sorts of diving, and yes even in current they perform great. The black pair is just as good, but does tend to give a little bit more bang for your kicking buck, but overall they are very similar. You do need to use a slightly different kick than with blades, but that is true for all split fins. Finally the big question can you do a frog kick, well the answer is no, not the traditional frog kick, but that again is true for all split fins. However because these fins are softer and shorter than most other split fins on the market you can do a modified frog kick.
Overall GREAT FINS!!!!!!

Tried these fins for the first time in Bonaire. They are easy-on and easy-off, perfect for either shore or boat diving. The blue fins float, making them easy to retrive.
Adjusting the straps to make them bigger takes a little extra effort. Tighting the strap is no problem.
A little less thrust than the Aqua Lung Blades. No problem swimming against a moderate current.

I JUST RECEIVED THEM ON FRIDAY AND DID THREE DIVES SATURDAY IN THE BEAUTIFUL CARIBBEAN SEA. BY FAR THE MOST COMFORTABLE AND EASY-ON-YOUR-CALVES FINS I'VE USED.

Comments about Scubapro Scubapro "Twin Jet" Open Heel Split Fins:
You really can book in these fins. I don't get leg fatigue or cramps. I purchased the optional coil fin straps (took me 2 trys to get the right size), but well worth it. If you stick with the strap that comes with the fin, buy the spare fin strap set. Always good to have those around. My fins brand-new out of the box were "oily." Made gripping the fin strap to tighten a little difficult. But that oiliness "washes off" in about 3-4 dives. Stick with the black. They're a sturdier material, making it easier to fin. The color Scuba Pros, though nicely colored and positively buoyant, seem a little flimsy.
Comments about Scubapro Scubapro "Twin Jet" Open Heel Split Fins:
I really like the fact that the fins will float if you should lose them in the water.

Great power, lightweight. Not good for frog kick
Comments about Scubapro Scubapro "Twin Jet" Open Heel Split Fins:
Best fin ever used, no effort, no leg cramps, it does not kick up silt like hard fins and they are not as hard to walk to the back of boat throwing you off balance
Comments about Scubapro Scubapro "Twin Jet" Open Heel Split Fins:
Great fins let me swim more efficiently. My calfs are not sore the day after diving as would sometimes happen with my other fins. I am more efficient with my air swimming with these fins so I have longer dive times!

Love these fins! I'm a small guy and at first I thought they may be too big and heavy but I was wrong! They fit great and work super. I have already recommended them to friends.

Comments about Scubapro Scubapro "Twin Jet" Open Heel Split Fins:
The black ones do seem to be a little stiffer than the yellow ones. They work well up current and cross current, also. I've used them in Grand Cayman, Cozumel and Jupiter, Florida. Though a little heavy, they pack well for travel, due to their shorter length. They might be a good choice for someone with knee or hip problems. Also, I have not needed to use spring straps with them as it is easy to remove them with the straps they come with.
I have purchased a lot of gear from Leisure Pro and they are always great in every way. . . no exceptions!

These are my go-to fins. I own 2 other pair of really good fins. But on the deeper, techy dives, these are the ones I pick.

Comments about Scubapro Scubapro "Twin Jet" Open Heel Split Fins:
I have the cobalt fins so they're positively bouyant. I would end up floating vertically in the water column, feet up. Not a very comfortable feeling. Additionally, in heavy current these fins are nearly useless. You can't get any power out of your kick.
I've heard mixed reviews about these fins. Some people love them and some hate them. Turns out my kick is just wrong for the fin.

Comments about Scubapro Scubapro "Twin Jet" Open Heel Split Fins:
A truly amazing fins! Better than all I tried so far. I swim faster and use twice less strength than with my old hard blade fins. Very very easy to swim with, very efficient. The original straps break down fast, I replaced those with the steel spring ones you can find on this site - perfect.
Excellent choice, a definite recommendation.

Awesome fins. I can't claim they're the Best, simply because I have yet to try every fin ever made... but these are a really capable, comfortable, easy fin for recreational diving and beyond. (I even used them in Cocos & Malpelo, areas renowned for their fierce currents - and these fins did just fine.)
I use the yellows, which I HIGHLY recommend if you dive in very lo-vis areas like I do (Monterey CA). The material used on these is much more visible than other brands' "yellow" fins.

I was turned on to these by my dive instructor who is also a State Police Rescue Diver. They provide excellent thrust through the water and are extremely comfortable. I couldn't be happier with these fins.
