Comments about Scubapro ScubaPro "Twin Speed" Open Heel Fin:

This is a very good fin. In 35 years of diving it is the best overall fin I have used. If you are diving for fun and or making several dives a day, the efficency of this fin will save your legs (and therefore your gas). I bought these for my daughters and wife as well as myself. Like all splits, it does not give a fast start; if you are pushing a heavy load with powerful legs you may want a stiffer, nonsplit fin.

Comments about Scubapro ScubaPro "Twin Speed" Open Heel Fin:

I use with full scuba gear and also drysuit. Best advantage for me is when returning to boat on surface on my back the fin is very efficient due to its curved shape. Fin maintains better contact in water. I use for work more than recreation.

Comments about Scubapro ScubaPro "Twin Speed" Open Heel Fin:

This product is well-suited for normal diving. It requires very strong kicking to get anywhere, though, and it's far too inefficient for snorkeling. Perfect for its intended use. I've been using these fins for 18 months with little wear or tear, though I had to replace the strap on the right fin because of how I hold them when out of water.

It is comfortable for a few hours but, like most fins, it can become sore on the top of the foot. The amount of time it takes for uncomfortability to set in is reduced drastically in the absence of boots.

Comments about Scubapro ScubaPro "Twin Speed" Open Heel Fin:

I just started diving last year and learned with standard fins. There was nothing bad about that experience but I'm really pleased that I've upgraded my personal choice to a split fin. They're very responsive and are very friendly to my legs. Movement wise, I can do more with less effort.

Comments about Scubapro ScubaPro "Twin Speed" Open Heel Fin:

This is the best fin I've ever used for scuba, but one of the worst for commercial applications. You can move through the water easily on scuba, but you tough to pull a 600' hose stretch while on surface supply.

Comments about Scubapro ScubaPro "Twin Speed" Open Heel Fin:

This was my first fin for begining open water. It worked well and was easy to get propulsion as a new diver. The blade on the fin is really really long so manuverablity on a boat is an issue.

Comments about Scubapro ScubaPro "Twin Speed" Open Heel Fin:

I use these fins to spearfish in Rhode Island for Blackfish and Stripped Bass. The only cons I have encountered so far is the heel clips are difficult to clip 1 handed and I might have chosen a slightly stiffer fin (I am 5' 10" and athletic). Overall they do great-I usually dive no deeper than 20ft and they do well at the surface and even better when cruising underwater.

Comments about Scubapro ScubaPro "Twin Speed" Open Heel Fin:

The ScubaPro fins are a significant improvement over the fins I was wearing. These fins provide greater control underwater and make the dive more effortless. As an example, during a dive,I would often times cramp in my calves. Since I have been wearing these fins, no cramping what so ever. Also, another excellent feature, they are very light in weight.

Comments about Scubapro ScubaPro "Twin Speed" Open Heel Fin:

Overall after 10 dives, a great split fin! The heel strap buckles are a little tough to get on/off in cold water with gloves on, but that is common with lots of brands. Width is average so my narrow feet have a little wiggle room, but it doesn't bother me. The whole "Twin Speed" feature is kind of gimmicky. These are just really good, well made split fins that do exactly what they're suppose to: make swimming easier.
