Brand: Omersub
Located in: Essential Equipment, Fins
The standard stiffness Millennium blades are manufactured in green or black Moplen polypropylene plastic. The blades are 746mm long and 223mm wide, with a variable thickness from 5.0mm to 3.0mm. Suitable for all around diving less than 80ft

1 - Omer-Sub interchangeable foot pocket has been designed and developed internally by our technicians and it is manufactured with newest rubber compression molding technologies existing today. The foot pocket is produced with natural rubber in two different stiffness compounds throughout the different sections of the pocket to maximize the efficiency of the stroke without compromising comfort.

2 - The internal geometry of the foot pocket, thanks to the great experience of Beta Tools in the production of safety shoes, has been ergonomically designed to fit with total comfort.

3 - The design optimizes canalization of water on its surface and maximum impact resistance at the edges. Three reinforcing ribs have been added under the heel to increase the stroking power.

Excellent freediving fins, work so well they propel you to the next level. These fins have so much power,my buddies that dive 50x's more than I do have respect for these awesore fins. With my split fins I had trouble doing 30' but since I've had these I'm doing 50' with ease with time enough to wait for that perfect shot.Did I mention I LOVE THESE FINS!!!!!!!!

Comments about Omersub OmerSub "Millennium" Full Foot Free Diving Fins:

That fins probably disigned for deep diving but not very comfortable for freshwater spearfishing,
the mold is to wide and not perfectly fit to foot configuration. That is reason we lost power and efficiency. Plastic parts of the fin is easy damagable and not very flexible.Back of foot covering has to be raised more for easy installation and removing, rubber mold has to be extended on both side of blades.

Comments about Omersub OmerSub "Millennium" Full Foot Free Diving Fins:

I have tried Omer/Black, Cressi Gara 2000/3000 and Picasso BlackTeam.

1. While in use, the blade does feels like a piece of plastic. Hehe.
2. The foot pocket is on the wide side which u will like if your feet is a little wider than average.
3. You might not gonna like the foot pockets if you are planning to wear these without neoprene socs (socks highly recommended with this one).
4. On the positive side, you can upgrade the blades...

Just a note: I have many equipment made by Omer and I like most of the Omer products. Only this one dissapointed me a little. Maybe it's just me, I know many people like them a lot.
All in all: I would say it's an AVERAGE fin which does the job.

In my honest opinion, for the same $$ Cressi Gara 2000HF, Gara 3000HF and the Gara3000LD are waaay better fins. Feels better and much more confortable.

Comments about Omersub OmerSub "Millennium" Full Foot Free Diving Fins:

Someone wrote a review of these fins and said they are clumsy in shallow water. I couldn't agree more. In my mind they are best used for freediving by a user who has a powerful stroke and doesn't do a lot of shallow water swimming (I used these to a depth of 70 ft. with no problem). I used the Mares razor and Cressi Gara 3000 and both fins seems to have a pop when you kick. The Omer blades feel very stiff and kind of clumsy unless you are power stroking up or down. They seem really well made though and I really enjoy how they look and also I think the foot pocket is pretty comfy. I would recommend that someone try these before they buy them.

Comments about Omersub OmerSub "Millennium" Full Foot Free Diving Fins:

I bought these a little large to fit 3 mm socks.
I have a few hours on them, and they take a bit of getting used to. New muscles, slower cadence, clumsy in shallow water. I got raw places on the tops of my toes...not sure if it was the fin or the sock that did that.
Hard to put on while in the water. I have a lot to learn, though. I like them. Fast and powerful.

These fins are the most for the buck! I use them to freediving/spearfishing up to depths of 45 feet. They are lightweight, efficient, and the replacable blade makes these fins the only choice.
This fin works very well for surface swimming.

Comments about Omersub OmerSub "Millennium" Full Foot Free Diving Fins:

I have been free diving for 20+ years on the California North Coast. This is my first pair of long blade fins. I had been using Mares Power Plana fins ,which were faster than all my buddys new fins. But these are way faster & fluid. I have 4 dives on them so far this year Abolone Diving. They shoot me down to the bottom with only a couple easy kicks. Same go's for assending. They are very comfortable, and seem very well built. So far I love these Fins

Pretty good fins overall. They have a nice fluid kick and have a lot of power. I think becuase of the boots they lose a little bit of effeciency. Better than almost all fins I've tried besides the super stiff cressis other material fins like carbon.

I just started spearfishing a couple of months ago. I was using my scuba fins, so I don't have any real comparisons. I wear a 3mm boot and fin savers and find them to be very comfortable after several hours of diving.

Comments about Omersub OmerSub "Millennium" Full Foot Free Diving Fins:

Very flexible blades which allow you to spend hours in the water without tiring. The foot pockets are a bit large for use with bare feet though, so thick socks (3mm) are recommended. Excellent choice if you plan to upgrade in the future as stiffer blades can be purchased.
