I used this fin for snorkling and it didn't perform to well. The fins would probably work well for scuba because once they were underwater they performed very well...though big and I became tired easily...however they were rockets underwater and I don't snorkle enough to be a pro and that could lead to my fatigue. While snorkling at the top the fins were very buoyant and slapped the top of the water. I'll keep this fins around for cold water but I'll probably just by a set of warm water fins that are a split design or a little smaller. But again I'm just a recreational diver...the qualitry and comfort was very good and an overall good value.

Finally gave up on trying to play with buckles and replaced with buckles from a Mares set that is too small for my drysuit boot.

To my surprise I find these fins have more control and more power than any split-fins I've used. I'm keeping 'em!

When I bought these I hoped that they would be an open heal version of my favorite Carib fins by the same manufacturer. They are not. They are too stiff to be efficient.

For the price, you can't beat the versatility. I've worn them in caves, deep water, snorkeling in currents, diving in currents, you name it, they haven't let me down.

I have been diving since 1971. My Rocket Fins served me will for that entire time, but the Vectors are sooo much better. Light & efficient... I loved the rugged look of the Rockets, but Vectors just feel good !

Fine, rugged fin. For the price it is had to beat especially for the first time diver. They work fine with not much effect to propel yourself through the water. I'm keeping mine, why spend more when they work just fine.

These fins may take some getting used to if you only have experience with solid blade fins. The flexible panel gives you the ability to get more power from less motion because they "push" more water with each stroke. I am taking these to Grand Cayman with me this summer.

I bought these after reading the raves on online reviews. I thought the large surface area would translate to higher power. I tried it on a pool and was greatly disappointed by the amount of effort it took. Plus, the speed was less than what I could achieve with cheaper body glove snap fins I used for snorkelling. It was returned to the store the next day. I wouldn't recommend these fins.
