The V8's were the first split fin I ever tried, everything seemed fine at first, nice comfortable fit, and no real pressure on the foot from kicking.

That is until we left still water of the reef and took it down the reef wall. That comfortable feeling turned out to equal a loss of power output. I simply couldn't gain any traction in the water. I went on to try the V16 which is much more my style.

The V8s are really great for snorkelling, I just wouldn't take them diving.

I use these fins for warm water recreational diving. They fit well with my boots and provide efficient thrust in low to moderate current conditions. Very happy with the quality and straps.

Overall these are fantastic fins. The only problem I had with them was that the female housing for the strap popped off - almost lost a fin getting back to the boat. But they worked great - I used way less effort kicking and consistently came up with half a tank still left! Rock on! Used them in Cozumel where the current was a little fast and was able to go against it and not feel like I was fighting to stay in a spot to check out something. Good stuff!
