Great set of fins, but the sizing chart gives you a size that is too big! Just get the next size down and your golden!

These are always my favorite fins. I have every type of fin you can name [even have/use two sets of the old Farallon 'leg brace' fins] and these are the ones I prefer over all others.
They are super light weight, flex well and since I'm 6'4" with a 35" inseam when I kick...they fly. They are the fastest/least effort fins I own.
They turn on a dime and adapt well to all the stupid flutter kicks and frog kicks and all the other things you have to do to keep the muck to a minimum when belly dragging through a river/lake.
They do wear out after a couple of hundred dives. This purchase was my third set. The way they wear is the black inserts seperate from the [in my case yellow] matrix plastic. That is the only wear I've had, and I use up equipment, nothing gets babied. Never broke a clip or a heel strap.
They have a pronounced downward tilt that will make you learn to pick your feet up while scuffling along a boat deck. You have to pick your foot up about 3 inches just to get the tips off the deck.
The footwell is huge. To compensate for the difference between 2mill and 12mill booties and boots; I use the inserts that most people think are there to hold the shape of the pocket. They are used to adjust sizes and the ones that come with these fins are very comfortable. The toe of the pocket is really square so barefooting isn't comfortable and they are not self draining, you'll need to drill a hole in the pocket.
The bright yellow shows up well and I have many times used them to signal a boat bearing down on me [dive floats are dangerous in my lake. Jet skiers use them as turn bouys.]
I've lent them occasionally to friends who thought they were a little 'floppy'. It's almost the universal thing all say about these. You have to finish the stroke to get any power out of them, that's why they adapt so well to all kicks. If you learn to follow through and not flap your legs around these are the best ever because you can 'feel' them changing shape all through the kick. To a diver that is unaware of his equipment and just cruises around like a carp and is unaware of obstacles and surroundings and subtlties, these will seem to be just regular old fins. Consider your grandma in a Lotus. She's probably unaware of the potential for both speed and handling.

these are great fins, i have no problem with my fins. the straps do come lose but that is not a problem with fin. buy a set of ez spring straps and the problem is solved. because i can out swim and out last people with split fins on ,i am always in the lead and the silver fins shin under water making it easier to follow

I am taking classes to get my certification and these are my first pair of fins. They stay on my boots and my legs do not get tired while diving. So for a first pair I really like them.
