I moved to these from Apollo Bio Fins. No more cramps. Hooray! It took me a few dives to get used to them. Now I won't wear any others. You get a lot of stares from clueless and the usual FF naysayers. They work well and I have no issues with them at all.

I have used these fins since the early 90's and absolutely love them. I would never consider using any other fin. You can turn on a dime with these fins. Pivoting with one foot is a breeze. The power of these compact fins is outstanding.

Comments about Force Fin Force-Fin "Pro Fin":
love em or hate em--not too many folks in the middle. If you get used to using these fins you will not want to go back to other big leg-crampers, ever. The pro model is stiffer than the original and that does indeed translate to extra snap and more forward movement with less effort. My advice is spend the extra few bucks and buy the "pro" version--it's worth it. On my feet, the company's claims have proven true. The style of kick needed for these is different than std fins, and I think that's where many people lose the connection and don't like these. It takes a short snappy stroke (they describe it as a flutter kick)--long slow strokes will pretty much get you nowhere. But one short snappy kick will get you three times farther and three times faster (OK MIGHT be exaggerating a little bit). Oh and with little "reverse scoops" you can back up. And walk forward into the water. And a BIG bonus is how small these dudes are--If you travel they are GREAT. Just keep an eye on them--they are pricey and will walk in certain resort areas!
Years ago my girlfriend bought a pair from Leisure Pro (based on my constant nagging that her fins were awful!)
They DO run a bit small (if you want to use boots order bigger!), so hers did not fit the first time around. The lady at LP couldn't have been nicer getting her the right size very quickly. Same experience later with a mask.

Comments about Force Fin Force-Fin "Pro Fin":
I bought these with high expectations from the hype I got from everyone on forums and most people here. It was a disappointment for me in many ways.
First of all, the so-claimed "comfort" foot pocket actually cuts into the top bony part of my foot even when I am wearing a 5mm boot, very uncomfortable indeed, like shoes that'll give you blisters. In the water, they are positively buoyant (a good thing for some people, I guess) which worsen my floaty feet problem when I'm wearing a drysuit. I then used it with my wetsuit and couldn't get the propulsion with any kind of kick tried, including flutter. I struggled to keep up with the pack. Ok, so maybe there's a special way of kicking it - like an elite swimmer maybe as suggested by people on forums? Well, I'm not one and that's just too complicated for a pair of fins. I just want to have a relax dive - kick 'n go. One pro I must mention is that Force Fins are light and short, they may make great snorkeling fins.

I've been diving with these things since they first came out! After about 20 dives, you get used to them...that's for sure! They are incredible fins, super to get going really quickly with, easy on your feet and calves. I started with the originals amd after 400 dives I went to the pros. I'll NEVER dive another fin! These are the greatest!

Comments about Force Fin Force-Fin "Pro Fin":
My feet and calves used to cramp up a lot in my old standard fins. These Force Fins seem to hold the foot at a different angle, so I experience much less cramping. I really like the well-secured fabric strap. I do not anticipate any strap breaking with these fins. My only problem was that the fins were hard to pull off. The foot really jams in to the fin (good for swimming), and my boot was very tight in the fin. Next size larger would have been too big. After several dives, putting the fins on and taking them off, I guess I wore off some rubber, so now removal is no longer a problem.

Comments about Force Fin Force-Fin "Pro Fin":
I´m having a hard time getting used to this but think they are best for frog kicks, seems like the frontkick is so much more powerful that my head goes down when I use normal kicks. Straps broke on first dive on one fin and on the other on the next dive so be prepared to fix asap but after that.... just trying to get comfortable !
Comments about Force Fin Force-Fin "Pro Fin":
The force fin pro is very comfortable when wearing it without booties. You can even stand on it without doing any major damage. It would not accomodate my booties since mine is kinda bulky. Very comfortable swim and a little less effort needed to move forward compared to standard fins like the Cressi Rondine.

I am still undecided after about a dozen dives with these fins. I purchased them with diving in wrecks and cenotes in mind.

Comments about Force Fin Force-Fin "Pro Fin":
Compared to normal plank fins these are excellent gear. I had less of a struggle against currents, where I used a lot of effort before. Getting back to the boaty was easier and quicker, and I had less trouble keeping up with a much more experienced military dive instructor using Twin Jets than before. I paddled almost casually, and i stayed with him. I wasn't out of breath like I might have been before, and a quick thrust and your speed is up.
Excellent fins, and they even fit into a small backpack comfortably.
I'll recommend them and buy them again

Comments about Force Fin Force-Fin "Pro Fin":
Because the foot is at a different angle, I experienced reduced foot cramping. I like the woven nylon strap, which seems much less likely to break than the rubber one on my Mares Volos.
An odd thing that takes getting used to is that as you swim, the foot jams deeper into the fin. It's not uncomfortable, but takes a tug to pull the fins off at the end of the dive. Also, because the foot is creeping forward in the fin, the strap gradually becomes no longer snug around the heel. Has not caused any problems, because these fins do not come off easily. Good idea to check the strap midway through the dive and yank it tight to be sure.

It gave up on any other fins.
You feel like you have nothing on your feet.
They are the best for Frog Kicking.
They are powerful underwarted.
The only con is the heel strap that's not the easiest to tighten on a dry suit soft sole.

Comments about Force Fin Force-Fin "Pro Fin":
These fins take some getting use to. At first you don’t think you are moving. You have to let the fins do the work, and you don’t need to work so hard. They are a great scuba fin, but not good for snorkeling! The snapping action that makes them such a super scuba fin, does not work for surface kicking.

Comments about Force Fin Force-Fin "Pro Fin":
These fins are great but it takes some get used to. Swimming with them feels natural. Not good for frog kick style. They are less efficient then straight–bladed fins, so more kicks are required to keep up with the other guys but with a minimum physical effort.
I definitely recommend the optional bungee heel strap kit, especially if you use clumsy dry gloves.

You either love them, or hate them. But I find them extremely comfortable, powerful, and easy to pack. You have to get used to a different kick, but once you have adjusted, the power is great.

Comments about Force Fin Force-Fin "Pro Fin":
I've dove force fins for six years now. they are light on your feet, plenty of power, they don't cause any cramps, and for slight adjustments for photography they can't be beat. I've traded fins with dive friend so they could test them out, and after the dive most immediatly bought their own force fins.
