Rondine A is the new Cressi open heel adjustable strap fin which has been developed after the models Master Frog, Space Frog, Pro Light and Frog. Rondine A an innovative fin in look and performance. The Rondine A is molded using the exclusive and patented Cressi system with 3 materials. The three materials consist of a comfortable thermo-rubber (elastomer) anatomic, computer-designed foot pocket. The foot pocket encompasses the foot assuring transmission of the leg-to-fin thrust without loss of energy, adding efficiency to the fining action.

The second material is the revolutionary new dual density (techno polymer) polypropylene which forms the blade, and in conjunction with the third silicone based material creates a channeling effect. The channeling effect is the characteristic of the fin that enables a high level of energy to be transferred in both up and down strokes of the kick pattern. The blade originates from the upper part of the foot pocket, with a 20% increase in useful surface area compared to a traditional fin of the same length. The blade also has a differentiated thickness and gets thinner towards the edge to guarantee greater and more uniform bending.

The side stringers are made from two different materials that alternate with each other and overlap in different zones to obtain a structure with controlled flexibility in the different areas of the blade. New up-and-over adjustable quick-release buckles allow ideal positioning of the strap on the heel. A new system of buckle locking prevents the possibility of falling off, even if the fins are unbuckled. The result of all this technology is a fin that offers excellent thrust, without too much effort, perfect for beginners as well as moreexperienced divers.

The best fins I have used! I need heavy fins to keep my feet down as I'm a big guy. They fit perfectly and give you the power you need to swim around. Lost one fin on a night dive recently, so I'm buying a new pair now!

This fins are harder than the Cressi reaction.
However, they dont bend that much. If you kick fast, you will go fast.

Comments about Cressi Cressi Rondine A Fins:

Good fins with a good speed once you get used to them. The only con would be probably the weight which seem a bit too much to me but in the water it doesn't matter much.

Service & Delivery comments:

I order the Grey/silver with Yellow, and they came all yellow. At a dive shop where I was on vacation, I saw the silver ones and still liked them better. They photo on your web site showed the silver with yellow accent....that is not what I recieved, but had no time to return them over a color. Delivery was on time and in good condition.

Comments about Cressi Cressi Rondine A Fins:

Great pair of fins from one of my favorite fin companies, Cressi.

The Rondine A is a sleek looking fin. The straps are easy to grab and adjust for easy entry and removal. It accommodates many types of dive boots. It has the right amount of flex - not too much, not too little.

It is very powerful. It is not hard to kick, but the stronger your kick, the more thrust this will give. Definitely able to cruise with these things. Very good to have when fighting currents and the like.

Price is a real steal for the quality of the product.

My only con is the sizing; I cannot wear this fin without any boots in my normal size. I NEED to wear boots with this fin. Then it fits perfectly. Otherwise, it wobbles around a bit. This isn't a big deal though, because I wear some form of boot all the time anyway.

I would get this fin if you want a high quality, long lasting and useful fin for many types of diving as well as snorkeling.

Comments about Cressi Cressi Rondine A Fins:

Whenever I wear these fins with my wetsuit/boots they cut the skin on the front of my ankles. When I wear them with a drysuit/boots they bruise the tops of my feet. Perhaps it's the sizing, I don't know. But I bought the right size per the size chart and they really feel comfortable up until I use them for anything longer than a half hour. I really need to replace these fins at this point!

If Q were alive, 007 would have a pair of these, I have used all kinds, and there is no resistance, no effort, and the power is unreal. They stick to your feet like glue and easy to put on and take off. There is no other fin like this, it has become standard issue for my diveclub

Comments about Cressi Cressi Rondine A Fins:

I tend to like Cressi Products. Its as simple as this: they have yet to fail me. Not all of them are for me, but for the most part the gear holds up and performs as advertised. My good ol gigantic Frogs were showing wear after a good run at sea, and it was time to pick new fins. Why this became the most impossible decision to date with dive gear is beyond me, and best left outside of this review. There are just too many gimmicks and gadgetry worked into fins these days, while the irony is the same old designs tend to get the best reviews by those who know. That being said, the frogs have some gadgetry built in, but nothing that gets in the way. I appreciate the full foot pocket that seems urchin-proof, the quality is definitely high and everything looks built to last. I have about 40 dives on my Rondines, so I have by no means pushed them to the limits. The buckle is classic cressi: no gimmiks here, just a solid snap and release. I have to say, that its far less easy to lose or break than my frogs were, so some improvement has been made. Good news considering a broken fin buckle can ruin your whole day! What I appreciate most, is I have the solid and familar snap of my old frogs, including the power, with a much more agile and space friendly shape. I dont feel like I have long drooping fins on my legs now, and im not reminded as much of the enourmous fin length I was toting with the frogs. So basically I get all the power and handling of my frogs in a smaller package with a sturdier retention mechanism. The foot pocket has also picked up softer rubber, but its pretty much meaningless to me: I wear very thick boots to begin with and get all I need from them. These fins, as all frogs tend to, require proper technique and good legs or else you will get exhausted. They arent touted as what I like to call "lazy mans fins" that help you move effortlessly through the water. I believe you should be able to dive with any type of fin, and if you are so out of shape that you require a special fin to get through your dive, you may want to reconsider this physically demanding sport we call diving.Snorkelers should reconsider this purchase, as they truly are scuba fins. The flat blades make surface paddle difficult if you dont have scuba helping keep your legs under the waves. That being said, there is a slight curve to the overall arch of the fin, which really helps if you are on your back and going back to the boat on the surface. For the price, you cant go wrong, especially if you are a previous Frog user.
