This Fins are my new favorites.
Normally, before this fins, I dived with normal fins.
But on holliday in New Zealand, after hiking 20 kilometers across "Mordor" (Tongariro Alpine Crossing:-) I started to hate my quite hard Fins, my untrained knees didn't like the Tongariro hiking (But it was GREAT!)
But then I saw the Apollo Bio Fin in a Divestore and could hire a pair and I was amazed!
I dived the quite soft regaular Bio Fin Pro and from the first stroke (? My native speech is not english, you surely guessed it, whatever:-) from the first stroke on I knew I want new Fins, in fact: This ones.
Back home in the colder lakes in Europe with a drysuit and more equipent and hale knees I chooesed the harder ones.
Out of the box they semed to be really much harder, but in the water they are exactly the right choice. You can easily swim the same speed as your buddy, even faster and longer, without spending much energy or getting a cramp or so. And even the "Frog Kick" works.
And they look really cool.
And the Spring Strap is a very good feature. Put it on in deeper water with one hand: works. Walk into muddy water and put it on blind too. Undress the same.

The XT version is much stiffer than you might imagine even though it is a split fin design I would recommend for snorkeling as well as SCUBA. I am accustomed to the US Diver Rocket fin and I felt right at home in these.
Comments about Apollo Apollo Bio-Fins Pro XT C-series Silver - with Stainless steel fin strap:
I first had the Scuba Pro Twin Jets and wasn't to impressed. I was skeptical about the split fins until I tried these. Great fins with no cramping. Very responsive and they fit why fat foot! My friend has the Atomic split fins and loves those also.
Comments about Apollo Apollo Bio-Fins Pro XT C-series Silver - with Stainless steel fin strap:
This is the second pair of fins I have owned. The other pair was the Scuba Pro split fins and these Apollo's win hands down. These are very comfortable and are very easy to put on. I do A lot of shore diving in Southern California and deal with some big swells at times. I need a fin with quick and easy removal. They also dont give me any ankle soreness or foot soreness for that matter. I also swim with currents and I have no complaints with them. I would definately recommend these fins and leisurepro.

Good quality fin a good rugged feel for the technical diver. They are heavy, however the extra weight helps with diving a dry suit.

Comments about Apollo Apollo Bio-Fins Pro XT C-series Silver - with Stainless steel fin strap:
I've tried using a few different fins and have found that these are the most comfortable, efficient and easy to use fins out there. There is another model of the Bio-Fins without the stainless straps but I recommend getting the straps for ease of use. The only set back is the price but it's well worth it.

Purchased the Apollo bio-fin almost a year ago. I have yet to find a down fall with them. Stiff for a split fin design. Very responsive.

Comments about Apollo Apollo Bio-Fins Pro XT C-series Silver - with Stainless steel fin strap:
I bought these fins thinking I was going to get the best. I already own a pair of Scuba Pro Split fins and wanted to go one better. I have a large foot [14] I bought the LL the largest size they do. I was disappointed to find it too small. I had to buy a 2nd pair of narrower booties to fit the pocket. I love the steel spring strap and would highly recommend this feature for any fin. But I actually prefer my Scuba Pros, this after almost a year of using both fins side by side. I think the Scuba Pros are way more comfortable and get me through the water faster. Another thing is, I do not think split fins in general are useful for tech diving when you are carrying large loads [multiple tanks] Paddle fins are better. I also think the original black Apollos are better than the XT C-series silver.
