Bio-fin pro XT is specifically produced with a hardness of 75. It is a much more rigid fin. The Apollo Bio-fin standards of 100% rubber and 20 degree angle help this fin provide excellent performance, low strain, and reduced air consumption. Some people feel that the more rigid blade makes it respond slightly quicker to direction changes and alternate kicking styles. It is an excellent choice for very strong kickers as the more rigid blade provides a stronger resistance and more traditional paddle fin feel. The XT model is available in three sizes M, L, and XLd and strength while virtually eliminating muscle cramping. Reduces air consumption. Stunning charcoal grey color. Fantastic power and speed for discerning professional diver.

I HAVE USED A LOT OF FINS. WAS LEAVING MY PARTNER AND BOUGHT HER A PAIR OF SPLIT FINS NOW SHE WAS LEAVING ME. I BOUGHT THE BIO FINS AND I HAVE TO MOVE SLOW OR I LEAVE HER AGAIN. ITS GREAT. ON LAND FIN IS HEAVY IN THE WATER ITS GREAT. THE BEST FIN I HAVE USED BY FAR. I DONT GIVE PERFECTS BECAUSE THEY DONT EXIST BUT THIS FIN IS CLOSE.

These fins are awesome, I previoulsy had Aeris split fins and always struggled to keep up with my dive buddy and currents of any description were a nightmare, now my dive buddy struggles to keep up with me and I feel i am not even working them.... just awesome

If wearing hard sole boots, move to the next size fin. Example, if you fit a medium, go to a large if you plan to wear hard sole boots. Soft boots or ones without a thick heal will fit your normal size. These fins are not made for bare feet.

The biggest thing I noticed is that my legs do not fatigue nearly as much as they did when I used my old standard design fins. Even though these fins are one of the more sturdy models, I need that because I'm over 200lbs & I wanted that extra stiffness in heavy currents. When I need to move quickly, these fins provide that extra boost & changing directions is smooth & controlled. Also, the heal clips work great!
