two dive buddys are ticked at me .. because I got a fantastic deal on these.. I told them that I have one other pair of FULL FOOT apollos, and cut them down when they were worn and split after(100+)dives-and put in and re-enforced the sides for a spring heel set-up.!-- THEY paid WAY too much for this same set up-without the added benefit of some warm water dives first !

I already owned the "Apollo Bio-Fin Pro XT C-series Silver - with SS Fin Strap" to use with my cold water gear. I liked the performance of the fin so, I got these for warmer water to use barefoot. They perform just as well as their cousin. However, they have negative bouyancy and are fairly heavy. I do not recommend these fins for those lacking the leg strength to manage them. The advantages of the fin design seem to be pure speed but only if you have the legs to do it. Without stronger legs, average users would not be able to take full advantage of the design in my opinion. I'm sporting tree trunks so I love them.

I wear a 10.5 shoe and tried the S-M based on other reviews saying they ran big. The size fit perfectly with bare feet, a little snug with neoprene socks. But the blades were 3" shorter than my Aeris Velocity fins and looked like kid's fins. They didn't seem to have half the power or speed of my 5-6 year old Velocities and they tired my legs and ankles. I returned them for a new pair of Aeris Velocities.

I love my Apollo Bio Pro fins, so I went & bought a set of their full-foot fins for pool work & tropical diving. The foot pocket is not going to fit most humans without a boot. It's at least 2 sizes larger & 3 sizes wider than they list. After trying various sizes I returned them. I'll be buying something else. Look elsewhere.

This was my husbands 1st snorkling exp. and he is not a strong swimmer. He also has a very high instep and fins are hard to fit. We tried on 7 different kinds and these had the best foot fit. When he used them, he said he hardly had to kick and he so comfortable.

I love my open-heel Apollo Bio-Pro fins, so I ordered a set of full-foot fins for pool & warm-water use. I should have read the reviews first & found the sizing is a joke! Foot-pocket is about 2 sizes larger than they claim and at least EEEE width. I exchanged for the smaller size, and although it was way too short, they were still too wide!

If these fit you, they are a great fin for an amazing price. Sadly, they are unlikely to fit many people except for the truly obese.

I bought the Apollo Full Foot Bio UNI Fin "BLUE" in order to have a full foot version from Apollo in addition to the Open Heal version Apollo Bio Fin Pro C Series Yellow with Commercial Grade Spring Strap which I have used for the last 7 month on 57 salt water dives . The full foot Apollo Blue fin is by far infereior / does not even come close to the power output of the Apollo open heal Yellow version I have from Apollo . THe blue full foot is visibly shorter and apear much stiffer . A major disapointment .

Just test drove these at a local pool...fins a bit heavy until on your feet & in the water-feel great then.Fit works well with my wide feet/high arches.Very good propulsion, no chaffing , no cramping, at least on the initial swim. So far, very favorably impressed!

I have used these fins for 25 dives and love the short length for packing in my carry on roller. The real beauty is in the PERFORMANCE category. They are extremely fast and without fatigue you feel like you can go all out indefinitley. I can understand why these have received such high ratings - CONSISTENTLY year after year. They are now my favorite warm water bootless fins. Will also consider the Apollo Boot Fins when I buy another pair. I higly recommend these fins. They do seem to be a half size large but I have both the sm-Med and Med-LG and can wear both comfortably without any bootey. I am a 10-1/2 D-width shoe size....that should help you estimate a size that will work for you. Dive Safe.

A great fin, first time I use mine I can't help to think to forget my other fins, very confortable and I wont get tired legs and cramps are things of the past. I loved it, i loved it. Would recommend to all divers. Sizing is a bit of a problem but was resolved by using a sock which makes it more comfortable.

I have not had these on in the water but in my quest for a fin for wide feet this fin comes out on top. If you have a size 12 wide (EE) give these fins a look at the L-XL size. Looked at other very good fins and, no doubt the are as advertised, but on comfort alone for me these fins are excellent. Because the are wide the use of a boot is feasible. Most testing indicates overall good performance so felt comfortable (and at a great price) buying without trying on. Rolled the dice and won. Can't give the highest marks because of no water use. PS I said felt too wide based on normal width fins. If you have a normal D width plan on a boot.

i have a pair of cressi sub free dive fins. the pocket fits perfect and matches well to shoe size. the apollos fit is very loose. (i don't use boots or socks) the length is loose and the width is loose. i bought the smallest size range and have a size 11 foot! i would be interested in trying a smaller size. but over all i think the foot pocket misses the mark ergonomically.

Great fin at a great price. Provides great propulsion with short flutter kicks. Easy to don and doff. Slight discomfort with the outside of my big toes rubbing, but not irritating enough to keep me from loving these fins (I am a size 13 shoe). Fins feel a tiny bit wide, but after many uses never have felt like they would ever accidentally come off.

These are unreal fins , especially for the price . I have tried most brands of full foot fins as for diving from a boat theres nothing more comfortable than a full foot fin.Trouble with most is you get no torque . These have some weight to them so they dont lift your feet and they propel as well as their open heel fins , very comfortable foot pocket , i love them!

I live on a lake, and bought these to fool around with and keep in shape. Once I tried them I flipped-out. They are just great both frog kicking and normal kicking. They give great thrust and power, and underwater gliding is a breeze.

Great Full fins. I prefer full fins and these are so comfortable. My wife has the open heel but I love my closed heel. Highly recomend. Just get 1 size smaller than you think.

I bought these for my wife, who is an avid snorkeller, but does not dive. She loves them! The split fin is very efficient and the full boot design makes them incredibly easy to use. She claims that her legs don't get tired at all when she uses these, even on long snorkels.

The only problem so far is they are a bit wide or to big, so I had to compensate with a 3mil aqua sock. Haven't used yet, but hoping sock will work to keep tight. Trying to save space and not have to carry booties. I like full foot fins on long trips where I need to be space and wgt conscious. These fins are made of a very flexible, but heavy rubber. Should take the beating. Price was great, but wouldn't have bought unless on sale.
