Comments about Uwatec Digital 328 ft. Bottom Timer (W-BT):
The bulk of my dives are spent in 125-200 feet of saltwater, relatively square profiles and moderate (less than 1 hour) amounts of decompression. Because I dive dry much of the time, my watch is not available. This, along with my tables, is my "primary computer" against my Nitek He. And yes, I do mean primary!
Always exceptional. If only I knew I would need it little sooner, I wouldn't have had to pay rush shipping!!
Comments about Uwatec Digital 328 ft. Bottom Timer (W-BT):
it works out really well as a backup to a computer, as it only provides depth time and acsent rate
Comments about Uwatec Digital 328 ft. Bottom Timer (W-BT):
This is a simple, minimal dive computer - really about halfway between a minimal computer and a very fancy depth gauge. It is a fine piece of backup equipment, and will be a permanent part of my Save-A-Dive kit ... at least, it will be until the battery dies. According to the manufacturer's instructions, the battery is *not replaceable*. At the end of three+ years, I guess I'll have to just throw it out. Still, it is very affordable, and since (I hope) I'll never need to use it, the battery should last a good long time.

As a reliable back-up to my computer; I wouldn't dive without it. This bottom timer is one of the key instruments for advanced dive planning in conjunction with specialized tables for technical divning.
When diving far below recreational limits, one needs reliable instruments; the Uwatec Bottom Timer is rock solid in every respect.
