I think the insides are made by Casio. This is the exact same computer as the Nitek Duo and Zeagle N2ition. It will take you from open water, all the way through basic tech diving classes.
Definitely NOT an entry level computer, but you could use it from day 1 and it will grow with you.
Heck of a deal at this price.

I purchased this computer during my training as I wanted my own equipment. It has served it's purpose well. As a beginer though, i would have liked to have more information on using it other than what the small manual had to say about it. But with now over 150 dives I understand it well. Unfortunatly I did not understand all of it's functions and the manual is written for someone who has used dive computers before.
For the first 140 dives I was able to upload all dive logs into my own computer and had wonderful looking print outs which state all needed information for recording logs. (you have to purchase the computer cord seperate in order to upload to desktop/laptop) Now since my new laptop is Vista I can't get it to work any longer. I was never crazy about how it uploaded information anyway as half the time I had problems uploading due to errors with the way the sync cord worked or mostly didn't work. And the cord and connector seems very flimsy I can only believe that it has "finially bit the dust" (the cord, not the IQ700) Tusa also now says it has upgraded software to use with Vista but I've had no luck using it after several downloads.
anyway, the IQ700 is still working great and is a very good computer for the money. It has over 150 dives on it. I recently went on a cruise where the dives we booked were equipment included. I took my own dive computer as a back up as well as to keep up with my log information.
I think I'll look into another one, an upgrade maybe to the 900 after I see more reviews. The IQ700 has served it's purpose but now I would like one that will also register the PSI of my tanks along with other information. I hope that Tusa has improved the way the upgrades sync with desktop/laptops

Great computer, easy to read and easy to set. I borrowed this computer from a friend to use during a full day of spearfishing. The bar graphs are easy to see and easy to read. the accent rate and deco. stops work very easy and connot be mistaken. for the price you dont get any better.
I used it all day on 5 back to back dives using a mix of Nitrox and Air. I knew how long I could stay down and avoid the bends. I will be buying this computer very soon.

The DC Hunter is a good overall dive computer. Since it's not air integrated you need a gauge console to monitor air consumption but overall the DC Hunter works well and seems very well designed.
The nitrogen and o2 loading bar graphs are easy to read and the ascent and descent speed graphs work very well. The audible alarm is consistent and helps keep the diver on track when ascending too fast. The computer is easy to change from Air to Enriched Air and has a setting for both fresh and saltwater.
Overall it's a great computer for the price.
