the only downside the this product is reading the manual first. it's not hard to operate, but you have to read the manual to learn all the gadgets. still an A+ in my book.

From 30-60m this was very easy to use. The gauges worked perfectly!
Comments about Sherwood Sherwood CR3705 InSight Navigational Console:
I've only used the computer once, but so far, no problems. The display is well laid out, the only problem is that the ascent rate indicator is a bit tough to read unless you look at it from just the right angle. I have the alarms set on, but didn't hear any go off (even when ascending too fast) during my last dive.
I also bought the upload cable. Uploading dives is easy and offers more information than the built in dive log. After the upload, the computer display went a little crazy and displayed the statup screen (displays everything it can) for a while. I thought the computer was hosed, but it reset after 20 minutes or so. It gave me a bit of a scare, but everything is back it working order. This computer offers everything I need at a fraction of the cost of a similarly equipped model from another manufacturer. Great deal.

This computer is great! Very intuitive, the default screen when diving shows your NDL time right smack in the middle, a N2 loading bar runs up the left side, and a very conservative(<30ft/minute at 30 feet and above) ascent meter runs across the bottom. Good for nitrox to 40 out of the box, 2 button interface is lots easier than the 1 button, and the unit's on a swivel so there's no fighting your hose to read ur gauges! You could pay more, but why? this one has it all, IMO.
