Sporty-licious. The GEO is a powerful and versatile new SCUBA and Free-Diving Sports watch, cementing our reputation as the leader in specialty dive watches. A unique combination of quality, function and style, the GEO Wristwatch is perfect on its own or as a backup to any dive computer.

Advanced Free Dive Mode
The GEO provides accurate depth and time with an amazing 1-second sampling rate for subsequent PC download and analysis. Dive Time is displayed in seconds and minutes. Custom audible alarms include Elapsed Dive Time, Countdown Timer and (3) Independent Max Depth Alarms. The GEO is the first Free Diving Computer to calculate and track Nitrogen Tissue Loading, allowing you to switch between SCUBA dives and Free Dives on the same dive day.

Advanced Wristwatch Functions
The GEO is an advanced digital wristwatch featuring a 1/100 second chronograph (stopwatch) with lap timer, 24 hour countdown timer, daily alarm, alternate time zone with date, 12/24 hour clock, and OceanGlo¦ Backlight.

Dive Time Remaining
Dive Time Remaining provides a 'real' number in minutes, considering Nitrogen and Oxygen absorption, and automatically displays whichever allows less time.

Oversized Digits
Take the Oceanic challenge: When shopping for a new dive computer, compare the displays. When it comes to viewing critical information, which would you rather see at 100 feet?

Audible Alarms with Flashing LED Warning Light
The GEO features a variety of system and user-customized audible alarms, alerting you to situations that pose a potential danger, or simply serve as a convenient reminder.

Audible Alarm Acknowledgement
Have you ever had difficulty hearing your computer's audible alarm? Perhaps that little beep signifying a potentially dangerous situation was timed perfectly with your exhaust bubbles rushing past your ears. Or maybe it seemed insignificant as that huge manta ray soared overhead. You won't miss the GEO's audible alarm. Once triggered, the alarm will sound continuously for 10 seconds. We know what you're thinking. "That's nice, I'll definitely hear the alarm, but isn't that going to annoy me and everyone else in the water?" We thought of that too. The alarm's job is to get your attention so that you look at the computer. Once it does that, simply press the button and it will stop. You're a responsible diver and the GEO treats you that way.

Air or Nitrox
The GEO acts simply as an 'Air' computer until you tell it otherwise, whether that is this weekend or 2 years down the road.

Comments about Oceanic Oceanic GEO Wrist Computer:

Whlke it works it a vry nice dive computer.
Easy and intuitive and very clear to read.
My Geo's dispaly just faded away and I had a Change Battery logo popping oou all the time just after my 2ed dive. Having the battery replaaced by a dealer - 20$ worth of a swap it had worked OK for a day and than again Change battery all over the place. And a fading dispaly.
Had to send it back to Oceanic - They were nice and gave me a fix code. Lets see what is to happen now when and if it gets back to me fixed.
I got to say that while it was working it's a very easy and clear unit and I'd like it to work properly as I dislike the bulky Suunto vypwer kind of computers.
Cheers
Ron

Comments about Oceanic Oceanic GEO Wrist Computer:

First unit failed to exit dive mode on the first pool use. Got the unit replaced with the brand new one, April 2009 production. Worked fine for 2 dives but went 'OUTR' on dive #3 indicating depth of 330ft or more on a 60ft dive. Upon ascending it continued to show 25ft. Went into deco mode after a short while. A few days later I tried to use it again - same thing happened. I suspect the entire batch either has problems with the software and/or pressure sensor as it is also indicating EL2 or EL3 at sea level. I like this computer a lot but you can's use it for diving until the issues are worked out.

Comments about Oceanic Oceanic GEO Wrist Computer:

I agree with other comments about the difficulty of the instruction book-hard! But after a few dives I am getting the hang of it and like the wrist computer over the console-easier to ascend and descend while holding the BCD hose inflator. Easy to read the numbers-large and backlight works fine.

Comments about Oceanic Oceanic GEO Wrist Computer:

My first dive computer. Met all my expectations. Easy enough to operate once you read the entire manual. Manual could have been written far better to make the actual "How to" info easier to find and understand. Very nice that it comes with an extension wrist strap to fit over even a bulky suit. Would be nice if the countdown timer display had a freeze function instead of defaulting to regular time after a minute or so.

Service & Delivery comments:

As always, great service and speedy delivery.

Comments about Oceanic Oceanic GEO Wrist Computer:

I read in some reviews that this computer had too many buttons and was complicated. For me it was as easy as reading the manual once and before my first dive with it was over, I had everything squared away. So far, this GEO has been perfect with my dives in the Dominican Republic, where I live.

Comments about Oceanic Oceanic GEO Wrist Computer:

This is my first computer and I'm very happy. Its easy to use, although the manual is hard to figure out for some options. Comes with wrist band extender for when you wear it over a wetsuit, but it does slip around my wrist from time to time - not a real problem. Does a great job of tracking my dive profiles and giving me back that information. Has storage for 1,000 dives, which gives me something to shoot for.

Comments about Oceanic Oceanic GEO Wrist Computer:

We are new divers, and purchased two new dive computers prior to our dive trip in August. We selected two different computers on purpose in case we found we liked the features of one better than the other. I purchased this Geo, and my husband the Mares Nemo Wide. The Geo out performed the Nemo Wide in all ways. It is more compact, just as easy to read under water, and easier to retrieve dive data from the log book post-dive. It tracks visual nitrogen accumulation, and maintains dive history throughout your entire trip. It's a little hard to learn because you can't see the dive data on the watch until you actually perform a dive, but once you complete your first dive, it all falls into place. We wish now that we had bought two of these computers. It is by far the better computer, with a great price, and great service from Leisure Pro as always.

Terrific Computer
By CaesarVerified Purchaser from Hawaii on 8/21/2008
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Comments about Oceanic Oceanic GEO Wrist Computer:

Amazing list of features for quite a good price. You will have to sit down and actually read the user manual to learn how to operate this bad boy, but it's definitely worth the time. It's not so big as to be awkward as a normal day to day watch. I would absolutely buy this again.

Comments about Oceanic Oceanic GEO Wrist Computer:

I am a newly certified diver. This computer did exactly what I needed and expected it to do. Very easy to use with good features. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I have only used it for 4 dives and need to use it for couple of more dives before upgrading my review to 5 stars!

Service & Delivery comments:

Leisure Pro is great with the best prices around.

Comments about Oceanic Oceanic GEO Wrist Computer:

Lots of functions and also a free diving mode. It beats the Suunto Mosquito for about the same price. The interface is a bit quirky at first but it is consistent so once you get the knack of it you will be fine.

Better Dives with this Computer
By JennVerified Purchaser from New Orleans, LA on 7/31/2007

Change your own battery, Easy To Operate, Easy To Read, Good screen size light, Lots Of Functions, Reliable
Best Uses:
Recreation, Warm Water
Describe Yourself:

Bottom Line:

Comments about Oceanic Oceanic GEO Wrist Computer:

My previous computer was the Suunto Mosquito. It was nice, but this one blows it away!! I have a small wrist, and it isnt too big. It also comes with two different straps for people with larger wrists. You can change your own battery with the tool provided, and it's easy to change time and other settings.

For those who prefer a wrist computer, I highly recommend the Oceanic GEO.
