If i had to say anything bad about the oceanic the cable for down load took me a while to figure out how to attach. It was not clear in the instuction sheet but it pushes in from the side.

I use it mostly in gauge mode on decompression dives, but when I make single tank dives with family this is my main computer, a side from the thermometer always being a few degrees above what it should be, I have no complaints, it's not like you can do much about the temperature anyway. The large easy to read screen is great in low viz/low light conditions. The only down side is the large physical size required to get the large screen. The back light is bright, and the interface is intuitive. If I had to buy another one, and the screen size wasn't a big deal, I'd go with the Aeris Atmos AI, as it is essentially the same computer with a smaller screen.

Nitrox setup is very good, and the buttons and menus are easy to manuever.HOWEVER, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BUYING THIS. I was talked into this computer for its durability. Recently, the button randomly fell off the unit without being struck or dropped, just taken on a normal open water dive. It consequently FLOODED the whole unit. [...] STAY AWAY!

This baby does it all. Set alarms and pre dive plans in her and you can just enjoy your dive without being glued to a screen. Bar grafts show N2 and O2 tissue loading, set it to tell you when to start your ascent, too deep, too fast, etc etc etc....just dive. It does all the work. Takes time to learn all the gizmos but worth the effort. Top quality, easy to read product. A+++++

I used it on dive vacations & on deep dives in Truk & Bikini Atoll. It gives you one deep dive & will then lock you out if you are using two gases. It is a one gas computer for only one deep dive a day. Use a Nitek Computer for two gases and deep dives. It is a Good integrated Nitrox one gas computer SUPER EASY TO SEE for recreational diving , but you must have a pressurized hose or it will fall off. Mine fell off 4-times. It is a tough little unit. Just remember it does not lock unless your hose is pressurized! For integration recreational I still think for ease of sight it is the Biggest & Best. For a smaller non-integrated computer for deep diving Nitek is the best.

The function of telling you what your limiting factor is, air or NDL, is fantastic. I did a lot of research and it paid off. This is one sweet computer. I have used it for 33 dives ranging from a check dive at Lake Mead, NV. then Palau, Yap, Truk Lagoon and finally at Bikini Atoll. It ran great even after four 4-foot concrete drops at home. You really have to make sure this unit is stuck on the hose! It does not hold it on good until it has pressure. It gave me one too liberal dive at Truk to 182' and the 2nd dive I wanted to bring lunch on the deco line!Never use this computer for diving multi-dives over 100' you will be the last on the boat or be tying it off to a rope to get out before you turn blue! Its a fine recreational computer, but even Oceanic does not recommend it for deep dives. It is only a single gas computer. They use Diverite Nitek HE's on Bikini and even my rental went bad. [...]

I purchased this computer after talking to other divers. I read the other reviews and they match up to all but one, the guy whose computer died in 12 dives. If you take care of this computer, it will survive the typical "hits" and the people a liesure pro were great in explaining things. While I dive alot in the warm water, this computer allows me to enjoy the dive, and not worry about air or other things it tracks. If you buy this, I suggest you take the time and play with it under water so you can figure out ALL the features. If not, as I did, found myself just jumping in and it worked awesome! At age 52, i want simplicity and this is it!

I looked at many dive computers when i first went to buy one. After many article and talking to dive stores i ended with the pro plus 2. I love it. I have never had a problem with the computer. I have dove dry suit with it at 40 degree, keys, New Hampshire, Mass, Caymans, i have gone down 117 feet with it and have never had a problem. The only down side is the software it comes with. The software is for uploading all your dives onto a dive book on your comp. it is sometimes hard to get a connection between the dive comp and your comp. It is also a little tricky to put in all of the dives you did before you had the pro plus 2. It is a stubborn program. But the pro Plus 2 is worth every penny.

I love this computer, it does everything but dive for me.... sometimes the beeping when I'm ascending to fast is annoying but I think I can change the parameters just have't figured out how yet. It has alot of functions so it takes a bit to get used to, but overall a GREAT computer
Just what I was hoping for!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
