I have not gone diving with this yet (will in a month) but I do have to say it is extremely complicated. The manual is poorly written. I am a technical writer in custom software industry so it is safe to say I am technically adept, it took me a few hours how to get the Main time setup (not the alternate). The software looks like it was written by a freshman CS major in college.
Don't get me wrong - it has a crazy amount of options and I think I will like this. My dive instructor uses it and swears by it (hence I will be using it). So if you are considering a dive watch, look into this, but just be warned about the learning curve.
More to come after my diving in January 2009 :)

Comments about Oceanic Oceanic Atom 2.0 Air Integrated Hoseless Dive Watch:
This is a really nice dive computer. It is compact, stylish, and comfortable.
It is my first one and I don't have anything else to compare it to other than watching some friends Suunto units. As a recreational diver it does everything I seem to need. I didn't find it difficult to use, but I do wish the buttons were labeled to match the manual. The manual calls out S, L, A, M but the buttons have symbols instead. However, most of these are used out of the water. In the water, pretty much everything is on one screen.
Learn the transmitter linking procedure before diving! I didn't have a tank, so I couldn't do it until I got to the dive site... and yeah I left the manual at home. I thought my dive was done, but luckily, I was able explore my way through it and figured it out in 10 minutes. There are only 4 buttons, 1 which is the light, so there were only so many permutations.
The PC software is ok, but I would have expected something a little better and more polished. I also found the linking procedure to be a tad quirky, but it gets the job done.
Overall, I am pleased with this unit.

Need to read manual and to link it with transmitter. Takes a while to learn which buttons to push.

Comments about Oceanic Oceanic Atom 2.0 Air Integrated Hoseless Dive Watch:
I am just getting back into diving after a number of years and having to buy a new set of equipment (long story). I got confused several times while reading the instructions and took several dives before I was comfortable with the basic functions.
I recommend that you find a reputable dive shop or buddy that is familiar with computers to help you figure it out.
The hoseless feature makes it great to use if you are trying to keep a low profile for activities such as spearfishing and wreck/cave diving. Most people I have talked to still use a separate gouge as a back-up (WHICH DEFEATS THE PURPOSE OF HOSELESS). I will be placing more reliance on my dive buddy. I am also looking to go with the integrated octo for my BCD.
The display is great and easy to read. My only complaint is that the alarm isn't loud enough. If I were distracted by something else, I would probably wouldn't notice it for awhile. Also wish the extra transmitters were more affordable.

Comments about Oceanic Oceanic Atom 2.0 Air Integrated Hoseless Dive Watch:
Because I am a man reading instructions are hard enough. Whoever wrote these instructions did not help anything. However, once I (with the help of others) understood the functions and how to get to them, this became a great computer. I also wish that if they are going to have the USB hookup and download to the computer, that it gives more information than it does. I woudld recommend this to anyone.

Comments about Oceanic Oceanic Atom 2.0 Air Integrated Hoseless Dive Watch:
There isn't a lot that can be said about the Oceanic transmitter. It works as designed; and the four that I have are all reliable and easy to service. The use of these transmitters is more a function of your computer, but can be used to monitor multiple tanks or your buddy (assuming you pay attention to your dive buddy). The only downside is that the signal range is not great, which occasionally causes the link between the transmitter and computer to be broken. You also have to be close to your buddy to monitor their pressure.

Haven't had a chance to dive with it yet, but from trying out the functions seems pretty easy to operate and has everything you need to know.
