The Mares-Wienke "Reduced Gradient Bubbles Model" (RGBM) algorithm is the most evolved algorithm to date for preventing the formation of micro bubbles. Obtained from a study done by Dr. Bruce Wienke in the Los Alamos labs on over 10,000 real dives, RGBM algorithm incorporates Deep Stop function to further increases safety without compromising dive time. Mares' computers provide specialized program functions dedicated for the needs of specific divers, Air - Nitrox - Free-dive - Bottom-timer. Nemo can be individually set and adjusted to more conservative dive profile if needed. When you do multi-level or multiple dives during a single day, you can choose different setting levels in order to adjust your computer to a more conservative dive profile. The Easy Access push buttons allow the diver to operate the computer in all conditions, even when wearing thick gloves. Navigating through the computer programs is extremely simple and very intuitive, whether the computer is equipped with one, two, three or four push buttons. Nemo is equippedwith mineral glass display. This provides superior scratch resistance, similar to the mineral glass used by watch manufacturers. Themineral glass is shock-proof, tempered, and non-reflective for better readability in all diving conditions and visibility.

I purchased this wrist mount watch style computer because I travel a lot in the Pacific and I wanted a light, compact computer that I could wear as a watch. Most of the others on the market are large, heavy or bulky but the nemo sport is very light and more compact than the image portrays. It is easy to read, very easy to use and in the dives I have done with it, it has worked flawlessly. I have the original Nemo watch computer which I also like but it's quite heavy and not really suitable to wearing all day in tropical heat. The manual is a bit tricky and in too fine a print but the functions are reasonably intuitive. For the price you won't find a better solution. Note: I also have a suunto cobra as my primary computer.

This thing is great, it really is no bigger than a normal watch and does just about everything the big computers do. I found it easy to use, it has a good display and clear warnings, although it only stores 30 dives and does not have a user replaceable battery. It's the perfect computer for non deco dives.

I spent hours with the manual trying to get comfortable with this watch. I learned the most when I got in the water and learned through experience. I do not recommend this computer for beginners as there are too many unknowns prior to your first dive.

This is an extremely functional computer in a small convenient package for both air and nitrox divers (up to 99%). Very easy to use. Depth, dive time, no decompression time, PO2, nitrogen loading, safety stop, and ascent rate warning are all displayed on one screen. So there is no toggling back and forth (between modes/screens) in order to find the critical information. The warning sounds are loud enough to be heard even in a ripping current.
I was also extremely impressed to discover that this computer also does an automatic 'deep no decompression safety stop' when the NDL has been exceeded.

I'm not technically blessed... which sucks! But, I was able to figure this watch out and use it for it's basic functions. It can do more... the most I've advanced is to use it as an alarm clock also! For those of you that know how to operate this kind of device... I'm sure you can make the most of it! I did buy this one as a gift for my friend so what does that say?! I like it!
