Night diving is aided with the HydroGlow back lighting which also comes in handywhen on a cave or wreck diving adventure. If altitude diving is your thing the computer will automatically adjust up to 14, 000' (4267.2 meters). Maximum operational depth is 330' (100 meters), there is an automatic safety stop countdown timer and of course full decompression stop countdowns when required.

If you're diving Nitrox the computer has a 21% to 50% FO2, Nitrox indicator icon, 50% FO2 default function that is user selectable. The computer also will display O2 saturation both on the dive and on the surface along with FO2 displaythe same. In the computer surface mode you get surface interval time from first activation, current temperature, number of dives in the current series and the time and day.

Computer has both visual and audible alarms. The audiles can be disabled if you like to dive silent, or if you are one who gets excited when diving and need an audible reminder when critical dive information is important to know you have the option. Alarms can be set for ascent speed limits, depth limits, O2 and manyothers. So if you are looking for a computer that will give you the edge of safety in an easy to use and read format the ReAct Pro is what you are looking for.

My first computer. Used it for a week of Nitrox diving in Bonaire. I had to change one factory default setting and had no problem following the manual. Easy to read, understand and operate after spending about an hour with the instruction manual and the unit. Highly recommended as a first computer. Fits great into the separately sold wrist strap.

I was diving with a group of 12-14 people. This computer had me going up WAY before anyone else to keep from going into DECO mode. (and, NO....I didn't ever go deeper than the group. We dove for a week, and it was like this on every dive.)

Comments about Genesis Genesis "React Pro" Dive Computer Module:

I have had a Genesis React Pro for several years. Bought a second one for my daughter and to use as a backup. I prefer we have similar equipment for better buddy communications. We've used them in Curacao and several trips to Roatan as well as in fresh water in central U.S. Have had no problems with either unit. I originally used in my console, then bought wrist boots to use and prefer having it on my wrist.

Compass is not practical, No way to turn OFF
Best Uses:
Recreation, Warm Water
Describe Yourself:
Advanced Diver
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Comments about Genesis Genesis "React Pro" Dive Computer Module:

I have used this with Air and Nitrox. I have had no problems with this device. If you read the manual it is pretty straight-forward. Just remember if you are doing a Nitrox dive and then an Air dive you have to set your EANx to 21. I have only used this in warm water so far (Kuwait and Thailand). It would be nice if there was a way to turn the computer off when you are done diving for the day. It will stay on for hours and if it is at all wet it may not turn of for longer than that.

The pressure gauge is a pressure gauge, it works.

The compass being attached to a hose is pretty much worthless. Get a separate compass for your wrist, loop it on your hand and navigate comfortably without being in an awkward position. After all the whole point of diving is to enjoy yourself and see things!

Comments about Genesis Genesis "React Pro" Dive Computer Module:

We always had Genesis dive computer. Bought this computer 2 years ago. No problems in Hawaii and Mexiko diving. Went to Turks & Caicos for Walldiving on a Live-a-Board. 3rd day in it shows Oxygen toxidity by 80%. We did not do extrem deep diving. Just by 100feet the wall and 60-55 feet the reef. Did not recommend Genesis dive computer for this type of diving.

Comments about Genesis Genesis "React Pro" Dive Computer Module:

Very GOOD computer! Use it a lot in Pool Class's & 70 degree spring class's as well as ocean dives. Battery does seem to die a little fast for me, about 60 dive's tell battery needs to be replaced. It will do emergency DECO stops if you stay down to long but then shuts down for 24 hours. Not a good computer for TECH Diving!

Very good computer for New Divers!

Great little computer. Has everything you need. I think manual says it's rated up to 300ft?

I brought the wrist strap/boot as a preference i like having it on my wrist.

Only problem is the battery light kept coming on when I got it. I called Leisure and they sent out a new battery.

Pros:
Easy To Operate, Easy To Read
Best Uses:
Recreation
Describe Yourself:
Professional Diver
Diving Type:
Wreck Diving
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Comments about Genesis Genesis "React Pro" Dive Computer Module:

Not a bad unit for standard recreational diving. However actual bottom time requires second press of a button. Should be on first screen. Took it on deco dives to 75M (250ft) - major freak out on the deco schedule went into error mode. It cant handle that depth. despite what manual says. Only use as bottom timer for that depth.

Comments about Genesis Genesis "React Pro" Dive Computer Module:

This is the second Genesis that I own. I got this one only to upgrade to the Nitrox feature, I am totally satisfied with both. The bar loading graph and other information is intuative and easy to read, even for someone like me who wears reading glasses. All the critical info is there by default and all other info accessable via buttons. The backlight feature via press of the button is essential to night dives, overcasts or tunnels. I have changed batteries in my older Genesis a half dozen times with no problems, this model looks similar.

Comments about Genesis Genesis "React Pro" Dive Computer Module:

I had the same problem Aquanut did. The computer was fine for a while, then suddenly died. Battery is not really user replaceable, since doing so voids the warranty, but they give you the tool and instructions to do it. Also the manufacturer is difficult to reach, no contact info given on the manual.

Comments about Genesis Genesis "React Pro" Dive Computer Module:

I like this console it is easy to use and easy to read. All around very very happy with it. I bought this one because I was tired of hearing stories of freinds loosing their wrist computers. The only thing that could be better is that the clock never stays accurate. It becomes a few mins. off after ever few weeks, and I have found there can be about a 5 degree difference from person to person between the temp. display. Other than that LOVE IT!!
