Comments about Aeris Aeris Epic Hoseless Wrist Computer (Complete System) with PC Cable:
Although I like the EPIC, I have had issues with 2 of these now. The first one was from wearing the EPIC on a plane while traveling to Belize for diving and it would tell me I was at 195 feet while at the surface, needless to say I could not use it reliably. The second EPIC just started dancing characters on the display and after removing the battery and replacing it (even with new battery) the screen is very dim. I am currently waiting for LP to send me another one since they will not refund my money.
Comments about Aeris Aeris Epic Hoseless Wrist Computer (Complete System) with PC Cable:
I was a little skeptical of the product after I had read all of the reviews. But, for those of you looking to purchase this computer you will not be disappointed. The manual is a little hard to get used to but once you figure out the way it is written you will have no problems. Navigating the built in menus is no problem. Also, having the software to set up your basic settings is really nice. Another review I read said that it does not show battery status. That is false. It shows when the battery is low and it checks the status of the computer and the transmitter battery every time they link up. Speaking of linking up, I have not had my computer lose the signal. For you wreck divers out there, this is another way to eliminate those annoying hoses. My buddy has a Suunto D9 and wishes he would have researched the Epic before he dropped all that coin on the D9. I have about twenty dives on this computer and it has preformed flawlessly since day one. I would definately buy another one if this one bit the dust.

Very poorly designed interface. It needs strange buttons combinations to change essential settings.

Comments about Aeris Aeris Epic Hoseless Wrist Computer (Complete System) with PC Cable:
[...] I chose to upgrade to this computer specifically because of the ability to easliy monitor my buddies air during a dive. However, it takes several seconds to change modes and then search for my buddy transmitter which must be at least within 6 feet of me to successfully read the air pressure signal. Sometimes you must search a couple of times to link with your biddies transmitter. Since I'm so close to them anyway, it's just as easy to sneek a peak at their alternate mechanical air pressure guage which I recommend everyone carry just in case the electronic computer fails. Aeris also makes this same recommendation of having a back-up several times in the Epic manual. Having made this point about monitoring my buddies air, I must say that having all of my data on my wirst is awesome and I love the computer and all of it's functions. Others have complained about the manual and my responce is that this is a high end computer with lots of functions. If you want a KISS (keep it simple stupid) computer, then this is not the computer for you. I'm a medical professional and it took my full attention to read and understand the entire computer manual. However, if you have ever tried to write a techincal manual, then you would appreciate all the effort that went into what I consider a challenging task. Well done Aeris on a state of the art dive computer.

Easy to set basic settings using the computer link cable (included).
Comments about Aeris Aeris Epic Hoseless Wrist Computer (Complete System) with PC Cable:
The computer is great. Takes a little to get used to but after two dives I was hooked. If this one ever busts, I'm buying another one. As an instructor it's nice when linked to the extra transmitters so I can see how my students air consumption is going. Also is valuable to show students improvement in breathing techniques (software included with computer)

Comments about Aeris Aeris Epic Hoseless Wrist Computer (Complete System) with PC Cable:
The product is very good overall. I do have a few criticisms and these are relatively minor.
The manual could be organized a bit better.
The seal on the battery compartment could be designed to inspire more confidence that it's locked securely.
Also, I had one instance where the computer got locked into free dive mode and wouldn't go back to scuba mode when I was just beginning to use it. I was able to resolve the problem only by removing and reinstalling the battery. The problem has not reoccurred since, and I'm not concerned about it.
Otherwise, I'm very pleased with the product. The display is easy to read and provides the essential information on the main screen like pressure and dive time remaining. That was a concern I had before I bought a wristwatch style computer. It's great for travel. I can leave my wristwatch at home and just wear the computer. Also, it has a handy feature that keeps time in two time zones and lets you set the one that's in use.
Aeris has also added a configuration option that allows the computer to retain the nitrox mix setting between dives. On older models like my 750G, the mix reverts to 50% after each dive. That was extremely annoying. I was pleased to see that they changed that.

Comments about Aeris Aeris Epic Hoseless Wrist Computer (Complete System) with PC Cable:
This is a great dive computer if you're looking for a small form factor. It's very easy to use once you spend some time studying the poorly written manual. After some trial and error dives (with backup gauges of course) it is flawless every time. I like the watch looks, functions, and size. My dive bag is big enough without having to add more gear to it for diving.
Leisure Pro is simply the best online diving site out there. They are more than helpful and willing to work with you on just about everything (including great pricing).

Comments about Aeris Aeris Epic Hoseless Wrist Computer (Complete System) with PC Cable:
This computer has all of the high end features of any other computer, but is as compact as a watch. Despite its small size, it is easy to read the information. I like the hoseless air integration. I also use it to monitor the air pressure of my younger children while we dive together.
Comments about Aeris Aeris Epic Hoseless Wrist Computer (Complete System) with PC Cable:
It was hard to figure out how to change the settings at first but now its a snap to change any function. It is also very easy to read yet the actual size of the computer is quite small.
My products arrived on time and in perfect condition due to the air bag pillows they use to pack them with.

Comments about Aeris Aeris Epic Hoseless Wrist Computer (Complete System) with PC Cable:
by the look, it certainly looks cool. But lack detail for the depth limitation. It would be nice to have indication for battery life too, just like the mobile phone we use daily.
