Had one that would lose the pressure link several times during every dive and had to send it back for service at Aeris, but they fixed it and now it's fine. [...]

Comments about Aeris Aeris Atmos Elite Hoseless Computer (wrist unit only):

Used this unit in Aruba, Cozumel, and Grand Cayman. The only thing I would add that others have not mentioned is that I have not figured out how to check my tank pressure BEFORE I enter the water. Readings out of the water do not seem to show air quantity. This can be a minus on excursion dive trips with charter tanks. Often these are well below 3000 PSI. In every other way, I am very happy with this unit and pair it with a Citizen Duplex for backup depth readings.

Comments about Aeris Aeris Atmos Elite Hoseless Computer (wrist unit only):

Great Computer. Buy it without hesitation. Easy to read display, bright back lighting, gives you the most important data you need at any given time. With a quick glance you'll check nitrogen loading, depth, water temp, time, tank pressure and either no deco time left, or air time remaining based on gas consumption rate. Excellent unit.

Comments about Aeris Aeris Atmos Elite Hoseless Computer (wrist unit only):

I have been using this computer for three months now and have clocked over 25 dives. While diving there are two main screens you can easily switch between, depending on what information you want to see. I really enjoy the ease of seeing how much air i have remaining and dive time remaining.

I highly recommend the P.C interface, not only can it run on all windows (Vista, XP, x86 and x64),it is also really easy to use (read the manual).

Service & Delivery comments:

Comments about Aeris Aeris Atmos Elite Hoseless Computer (wrist unit only):

I have one of the first ones built. I was a tester for it and submitted reviews to the Aeris. I purchased the unit I tested and have used it for the past three years. I cert about 50-70 OW divers a season plus my recreational dives. I use this all the time. It is my fav computer. Reliable. EZ. Once in a while if I have my wrist behind down on the bottom of my tank, it will lose signal but immediately picks it up when I bring my hands up. Very, very minor. I have access to dozens of computers through the shop I work at and cannot see changing away from this one.

It's a good one
By Grouper GaryVerified Reviewer from Washington, DC on 2/18/2007
Pros:
Easy To Operate, Easy To Read, Lots Of Functions
Cons:
touchy radio signal
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Comments about Aeris Aeris Atmos Elite Hoseless Computer (wrist unit only):

This is a very good wireless set-up with one caviat. The wrist computer seems to lose the signal easily...the transmission range is very small. It will often lose signal if you fold your hands across your torso. However, it re-establishes in a few seconds when you bring your wrist up to read the computer. Good screens, good info, intuitive to use.
