The Ranger was the first BC to combine high quality heavy duty construction, weight integration, and rear flotation. Its introduction created a new category of buoyancy systems, and it is without doubt the most imitated BC in history! But it's the Rangers incredible versatility that keeps knowledgeable divers recommending it year after year. Zeagle's modular construction allows the Rangerto transition between tropical travel diving, rugged cold water diving in wet ordry suits, single or twin cylinders, and even (with optional bladder assemblies having up to 2 X 85-LB lift and easily mounted back-plates) technical diving!

Constructed of heavily reinforced 1050 denier ballistic nylon, the Ranger is comfortable, balanced, and can be used in an incredible range of diving activities. It is compatible with a variety of additional bladders, pockets, andother accessories. The waist closure is a single buckle combined with elastic waist panels. The standard bladder has a 44-lb lift capacity.

Can't ask for a better ready to go BC! I've been diving with my Ranger for about 7 years and it's in my opinion the most well rounded BC out there. I'm a decent sized guy and the fit and function of the Ranger are top notch. The only drawback it has, is it's tendency to push you forward on the surface but that is common with all of the back inflating BCs. As a divemaster, dealing with students, you tend to get up close and personal when trying to adjust the student's gear or demonstrating a skill but below the surface, the Ranger keeps the diver on a nice level plan. I lean back and rest on the bladder on the surface. This keeps me from bumping masks with the students and gives that laid-back look!

After years of renting BC's and struggling with buoyancy, my wife bought me this BC for my birthday. It is the best BC I have ever dove with. Fantastic buoyancy, enough d-rings to strap everything to, 4 different ways to dump air (primary valve, pull on the primary valve hose, and 1 valve at the bottom of each wing), cool weight release system, and great construction.

My dive buddy owned a different BC and was always struggling with buoyancy. I talked hime into getting this BC also and he loves it. No more issues.

I will say that it is a back inflate so it will take a dive to get used to the way it acts at the surface. You have to lean back further than with a jacket type BC.

Very well-made product. I own a Zeagle Scout, but there is no comparison in terms of performance. The Ranger is superior in every respect. One minor complaint--the thing takes a lot of space in a suitcase or dive bag (get the Pelican dive bag), which makes it a bit inconvenient to travel with in these days of baggage fees. These are trade offs one makes with any product.

The quality and performance of the product offset make this inconvenience seem trivial.

In the end you get what you pay for.

This is the best BCD i have owned. I have never had one fit so well. The intergrated weight system is nice and the ability to add weights to the back makes this a perfect set up.

I kept looking for a BCD to buy as a first one for a long time and I finally got the best BCD I could think of. I love this BCD and I found that most of the folks in my diving club own the Ranger, so I am so happy with my choice. It gives me a lot of control in my byuoncy even at a very shallow depth.

Zeagle ranger is expensive but you get wath you pay for. The BCD is solid and probably last for a long time. The BCD has good stability in the water and it`s easy to operate it. The weight pocket are large so you can add sevral kg og weights in it if you are diving with a dry suit for instance.

Best BC on the market in my opinion!

Just purchased second Ranger. This one is for my aduld son (dive partner)
The ranger is very rugged and adjusts to every use I have put it to. I have been diving the Ranger for two years and would not go back to a light BCD.
Live aboard 4 and 5 dives a day use are nothing for the Ranger and I end up each trip wondering when the unit will start to show wear.
I enjoy the double tank bands and see no way this system will ever loose a tank in the water.
It is not a light travel BCD but is well worth the extra pounds for the safety and comfort that the unit provides during severe diving conditions.

this is my second BC, i've made over 200 dives on it so far and I can't see any problems with it. The only recomendation I suggest is that the accessory pocket be located a bit more foward, kind of tough to get too when diving.

Easy to put on or off, in or out of the water. I have a bad back and I need to remove the BC in the water most of the time. This is my third BC and I know it will be my lastit is the best, I enven bought one for my stepson. Buy one and you will not be disappointed.

This is my first BC, and I absolutely love it. It's comfortable, durable, and I haven't had a single bit of trouble out of it. I sometimes use it for dive recovery for a local dive team, and it's perfect for professional use. More BC than the average diver will ever need. Extremely rugged and flexible sizing. There are only two changes I would make to the Ranger. First, add a top dump valve to the right shoulder. Second, move the accessory pockets further forward. I have over 250 hours on my Ranger and have never had a problem. I will not buy another Ranger because the one I have will not wear out in my lifetime!
