Brand: Zeagle

The Express Tech is an ultra light weight, super compact traveling BC pack with features never before found in a rig this small. The unique back plate is reinforced with a polymer material that gives the support needed and the flex desired for a comfortable fit. The system comes standard with a 24 pound compact bladder with elastic retractors to keep its' profile small. The Express Tech BC system, complete ready to dive, weighs in under 5 pounds and packs up amazingly small. Two sets of center plate grommets allow for attaching twin cylinder assemblies via the bolt and nut arrangement that most tech systems use. BCD is equipped with Dual Rear Pull Dump Valves and Zeagle's Power Inflator.

Larger optional bladders are available. Three different optional weight systems can be easily added to the back plate. The 20-pound "Zip-Touch" or Zeagle's Ripcord weight system can be added to the plate with stainless steel screw fasteners. Also our 20 pound rear weight system can easily be added to the back of the plate. An optional pad kit is available to increase comfort at the shoulders and back. This BC can be called the ultimate travel rig for any type of diving. Take it to the islands for lightweight reef and fun diving or explore the deep holes and ledges that require technical gear and twin cylinders.

Comments about Zeagle Zeagle Express Tech BCD:

I made my first dive today using the 35lbs lift BCD and I liked it a lot. I am a big guy, 6'1" tall and weight around 310, 52 inch chest, 38 jeans. This BCD will adjust to fit ANYONE regardless of how big you are, even wearing a bulky 7MM wetsuit, which is the main reason I bought it.

The only negative thing about this BCD is that there are no D-rings or attach points for clipping on things like your back up regulator, slate, gauge re-tractors, whistles or anything like that. I am thinking about punching holes in the shoulder straps and pressing in tent/tarp grommets?

Also, the belly band connects the same way my weight belt does which could get confusing. You might go to dump your weights and release your belly band or go to adjust your belly band and dump your weights. To prevent this. I use a right hand release on my weight belt. So I re-configured the belly band to a left hand release which should prevent any accidental confusion.

Other than having no attach points I really liked this BCD and would highly recommend it, however this opinion is only based on one dive.

Comments about Zeagle Zeagle Express Tech BCD:

This bcd is amazing. Made of heavy duty material so won't wear easily. Very simple to use and very simple to adjust to fit as needed. Just did 2 dives yesterday and 2 today and everything went great with this BC. It packs up to a very small profile and can fit almost anywhere... Very light so taking it onboard a plane is no big deal. A couple things I added were some D rings for clip points. Also you may want to think about getting a crotch strap for this BC also cause it tends to ride up a bit at the surface but other than that everything was awesome.

Comments about Zeagle Zeagle Express Tech BCD:

I dove 10 days, 3 dives a day in Bonaire with this BCD. It is Light, Very Simple and fits me well.

I am a large round guy, 288lbs. (150lbs overweight) I was looking for a BCD that could fit me now and when I lose weight. This thing is ONE SIZE FITS ALL. It is totally adjustable.

I dove warm water, no wet suit, 20lbs of lead. The standard Bladder worked great.
