Comments about Zeagle Zeagle Backplates:

I have the aluminum, which is okay. (I got a great deal on it) But it is prone to corrosion, because the anodize gets scratched by the hardware that holds your doubles in place. Certainly buying new, the extra $15 for the stainless is well worth it.

Titanium is just silly, unless you wear zero lead on your weight belt. (think about it, if you make the BP lighter, you'll just have to add lead to compensate. Your lowest staggering weight on the boat is when every part of cyour rig is made out of the strongest, thinest and densest materials available)

Comments about Zeagle Zeagle Backplates:

Like the Backplate better with Doubles. They work fine with the BCs but feel more stable and have more freedom here. The Stainless Steel plate let me drop 5 lbs too. The Backplate gave me more sturdy mounting options for can light, etc. Also, a 6ft pony slips up on the side out of the way and is held with the valve right where I want it. Everything mounts perfectly for a doing-it-sort-of-right diver like me. I don't use exact GUE configuration but the platform allows everything to stay where I put it for instant easy access.

difficult to attach to my Tech B.C. because L.P. didn't send all the proper straps, nuts + bolts along for attachment. I called Zeagle and got the attachment video along with an,(Im sorry L.P. didn't send the straps). I explained how I attached it and they said "good job, innovative but not right, but ok. The unit was one price when out of stock and higher price when in stock, but still cheaper then the local dive shop w-L.P./30% off.

Comments about Zeagle Zeagle Backplates:

I have the Aluminum unit for use on my Zeagle Tech BCD. Its lighter then the stainless unit and far less costly then the titanium one. Black anodization may wear off it time. Very cheap cost with the Zeagle 30% discount going on now! I would recommend the unit.
