The weight loading system has evolved into a buckle type. Setting weight has become even easier then in conventional products. Naturally, the weight cartridge is easy to release in an emergency, but the safety lock makes sure that it is not released accidentally.
The BCJ-9100 is a jacket that is particularly sensitive to the needs of female divers. The comfortable fit is supported by a number of features. The bladder uses a high cut line to ensure smooth hip movement. On the shoulder section, a high chest belt (removable) minimizes pressure on the chest area. Theposition on the shoulders behind the neck is linked to the new angle adjuster so that even ladies with narrow shoulders can be sure that the jacket will not slip off. Thick, solid cushions are used for the back pads and shoulder pads, achieving a comfortable fit. Also, in order to ensure that the weight cartridge can be loaded easily once the jacket is on, it employs a buckle type advanced loaded system where the cartridge is installed at 20 degrees to the bottom line of the body. Female divers can easily load and release the cartridge.

My daughter got her OW certification in August and we have been trying to bet a bunch of dives in prior to a trip to Curacao in June 09. She has always rented a mens small scubapro or aeris from our LDS. We had another dive shop that was going out of business and on the last day was offering everything at 50% off. She picked a medium TUSA Selene that I paid for.
She has taken it on 5 dives so far and is extremely happy about the way the it fits her 5' 1'2" muscular figure. There are numerous adjustments that make the Selene very customizable. The chest and shoulder straps are very obviously placed for a female torso. The integrated weight system is also very easy to use
The only thing that she is planning to change is to buy a generic "scubapro" tank band.

I am so glad I ordered this BC. No more struggling with a BC that isn't made for chicks! Very comfortable and everything is well within reach. Ordered an x-small and fits well with wet suit on(5'4" tall, 115 lbs.). I have 5 dives on it so far and absolutely love it!

I bought this BCD mainly to use when traveling. It has relatively low lift capabilities compared to full jacket type BCD's, so I wouldn't use it when working, but it's got plenty of lift for recreational diving. It's a bit on the heavy side, but I was willing to sacrifice weight in exchange for higher quality materials. I love how easy the ditchable weight pockets are to use. They hold plenty of weight and are placed well for balance under and on the water. I'm a large-busted gal and find that the angle of the shoulder straps is very comfortable and accommodating. My only complaint is a small one, and that's that the velcro on the cummerbund gets caught on the lycra stretch material in the body of the BCD and is "picking" it. I just have to be careful to store it and pack it with the velcro closed.

The inflator valve mechanism is not the most comfortable or easy to use - the one on the Tusa Evolution is much better.
It fits women very well, but a Large size should be made as Medium seems to be the largest. It is a bit oversized, and very adjustable though. The low cut leaves lots of room for flexibility. Chest strap is perfect.
Nice big pockets, but needs a flashlight holder for a Q40 at least. Very nice weight releases, although I need a belt for cold water (Don't we all?)
It's durable and the tank rail is great. I wish it had a double tank strap just for security, but it is already a bit heavy for travel.
In spite of these few improvements it needs, it is an excellent BC, and I am very happy with it.
