Brand: Tusa
Located in: Essential Equipment, Buoyancy Compensators
The BCJ-5960 Pro Cubic is TUSA's most fully featured rear inflation style BC. The Pro Cubic is ideal for any diver who desires high lift and a heavy-duty robust jacket. The BCJ-5960 offers TUSA patented features such as the Advanced Weight Loading System (A.W.L.S.), the Independent Harness System, and the Ultimate Stabilizing Harness. Advanced weight loading system has evolved into a buckle type. Setting weight has become even easier than in conventional products. Naturally, the weight cartridge is easy to release in an emergency, but the safety lock makes sure that it is not released accidentally. Rear trim pockets combine with the A.W.L.S. to optimally balance the weight load. TUSA's Ultimate Stabilizing Harness completely eliminates tank roll and delivers an amazing fit. The U.S.H. securely holds the air cylinder in place with optimally placed rails and brings the tank closer to the body increasing tank control while reducing weight. The Waist Support System significantly enhances comfort and fit by dispersing the weight load around the hips. The W.S.S. integrates the adjustable shoulder harness system with the rear stabilizing plate and cummerbund to effectively unload the hips while ensuring a snug fit. Additionally, the Pro Cubic has a 3-D rear bladder design to decrease drag, yet provide higher lift capacities required by advanced divers and a Lumbar Support System to reduce back fatigue. The 3-D Hybrid Cubic Air Cell combines the features of a wrap-around style BCJ anda back-inflation BCJ into aunique streamlined hybrid design. The air cell offers increased lift capacity over standard back-inflation jackets and a more streamlined, comfortable fit underwater and on the surface. Buoyancy is controlled by TUSA's patented O.P.E.V. quick inflate/deflate system, 3 quick dump valves and the heavy duty 1000 denier nylon shell provides superior strength and durability.

Comments about Tusa Tusa Imprex Pro Cubic BCD, Black (BCJ-5960):

Great bcd! Takes a few dives to get used to the rear inflation, as it feels like it tilts you forward a bit. I also found that it could slide a bit to the side, but solved that with using the chest straps. Good amount of D-rings. After a few dives i love it!

Comments about Tusa Tusa Imprex Pro Cubic BCD, Black (BCJ-5960):

I have been a rescue diver for 6 years plus. The Imprex Pro is an Incredible BCD for dependability and durability. For the past 6 years; have been using an older model Imprex Pro w/ thousands of dives. The Imprex Pro has had no problems and functions as if the BCD were New!! Recently, purchasing the New Imprex Pro Model and most impressive w/ great features. Definitely recommend this BCD!!

Comments about Tusa Tusa Imprex Pro Cubic BCD, Black (BCJ-5960):

I have been a rescue diver and recreational diver for 6 years w/ over 500 dives plus. Presently, use an Imprex Pro; which is approx. 11 years old and in excellent condition. The BCD has NO problems and still retains full color w/a minimal of fading. Just purchased a new Imprex Pro w/ great features beyond expectations. Upon comparison of the ScubaPro KnightHawk to the Tusa Imprex Pro--I selected the Imprex Pro for Quality and Features; such as, double bladder. Definitely recommend this BCD for Quality and Longevity!!

When Tusa brands a product "Imprex" it is very serious about the quality, construction, durability and the comfort of that top of the line product. This BCD is hard to beat, and it is a serious value for the money. As soon as you see it for the first time, you will appreciate the extreme quality, and after your first dive, you will understand the benefit of an excellent back floatation BCD.

Comments about Tusa Tusa Imprex Pro Cubic BCD, Black (BCJ-5960):

I first purchased the Imprex Pro about 5 years ago to replace another TUSA BCD. As a Master Instructor with a major dive organization, I teach and dive in a variety of environments - including water temps from 36*F to 85*F - and find the BCD easily adjusts to whatever I'm wearing (drysuit or 1/2 mil wet). I originally had a slight problem with the stitching on one of the integrated weight pockets, but the manufacturer fixed it immediately. Even after 5 years of use, it's held up extremely well.
This is a GREAT BCD!
