This 45 lb lift BC is the first in the line of the new Larry Green Signature Series BC's and incorporates the latest thinking in hydrodynamic engineering. Deep underwater cave explorer Larry Green conceptualized this innovative design after many years of deep cave diving experience. The BC is designed and tailored to fit the full length of the cylinders providing increased control over trim and the reduced width of the BC dramatically reduces drag. This is the first BC to be produced that is specifically tailored tofit longer cylinders. Pull down the zipper of the outer cover of the OMS BC and you will see 1000 denier Nylon fabric backed with 5to 6 oz. of Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU).
This thicker TPU coating helps prevent abrasion and increases puncture resistance. Most competitors use only 1/2 oz. or no urethane backing on their BC covers making them susceptible to punctures, abrasion and subsequent leaks. Housed inside the outer cover we use a puncture resistant bladder constructed from 200 denier Nylon fabric backed with .12 mm of TPU. Most of our competitors use only a thin plastic film bladder that is more susceptible to damage. There are other differences such as 100% quality assurance inspection for leaks, imperfections and defects before your OMS¦ BC is delivered. The 45 lb. lift non-retraction band BC's are made from the same superior materials as the banded BC's. They incorporate a pull dump located at the driver's side lower left and an inflator hose exiting the center of the BC, tank side, and provide quality without compromise.

I ordered this wing to complement my OMS technical setup. My previous wing, an OMS dual 94#, proved to be too wide of a wing to use with a single cylinder. I use the OMS IQ Pack and backplate with this wing for my everyday recreational through working dives.
The wing is typical OMS high quality and fits perfectly with their modular system.
While the wing is intended to be used with a single cylinder (and it does so much better than my previous wing) I still find that floats away slightly from the IQ pack and "V's" around the cylinder rather than cradling it. I suspect that when I use it with my larger 112 cf that this will be minimized. One additional oddity is that the OP valve is on the bottom side of the wing rather than the top when in a swimming position. This seems odd to me as it would dump air much more efficiently if it were placed on the top.
