Pull down the zipper of the outer cover of the OMS¦ BC and you will see 1000 denier Nylon fabric backed with 5 to 6 oz. of Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU). This thicker TPU coating helps prevent abrasion and increases puncture resistance. Most competitors use only 1/2 oz. or no urethane backing on their BC covers making them susceptible to punctures, abrasion and subsequentleaks. Housed inside the outer cover we use a puncture resistant bladder constructed from 200 denier Nylon fabric backed with .12 mmof TPU. Most of our competitors use only a thin plastic film bladder that is more susceptible to damage. There are other differencessuch as 100% quality assurance inspection for leaks, imperfections and defects before your OMS¦ BC is delivered. The 32 lb. lift non-retraction band BC's are made from the same superior materials as the banded BC's. They incorporate a pull dump located at the diver's side lower left and an inflator hose exiting the center of the BC, tank side.

The product does exactly what you read about in the description. Very well made and looks good too! The bladder design allow air to move around allowing the wearer to adjust attitude in the water very easily. The low pressure inflator hose is a bit shorter than standard BCD users are used too but with a bit of practice and the help of an octopus holder or elastice band to hold it to your harness shoulder strap - it becomes a natural fit. Liked the first one so much I bought a second for my travel kit.

Very adequate piece of equipment.

Recreational diver with a passion! Combined with Al. backplate & comfort harness system II. Inflator hose is short but a great convience as it is where it needs to be anyway in a heads up deflate. Low profile equals less drag & with all the lift you need.

Had to change the oral inflation hose, which is 12'' and is too short for me. The rest can't get any better

I use this wing with an IQ pack and a single tank. Have used it in the cold midwestern lakes and quarries (down to 38deg.F)and also in Florida(high 80's F) without any problems whatsoever.

This bladder is the best thing out there right now. Pair this up with one of the continuous weave harnesses by OMS, and you are on your way to the perfect system. If you generally need more weight opt for the stainless backplate. If you dive with little to no weight get the aluminum back plate.

Yes, the inflator hose is short, but that is actually a good thing. It stays out of the way and is extremely low drag. You will get used to it after a few dives. If you are still finding yourself needing a longer hose, it can easily be replaced with a longer one.

Remember less is more.

Just about the perfect rig for just about anything. The only drawback (if you could call it that) is the power inflator hose is a little short in my opinion
