Trim and Airflow
This BC is engineered with a 60 lb. lift dual bladder design, incorporates a "donut design", resulting in superior buoyancy and trimcontrol. The top of the BC (neck area) has a narrower air pathway design and the bottom air tunnel adds 10 lbs of lift (butt area) creating an optimum "heads up" trim position.
Low Profile and Drag
The 60lbs Dual Bladder wing by design maintains a low profile and drag ratio due to the new and unique retraction band system. Diver's side located inflator and dump assemblies eliminate "hang-ups", impact damage and drag in overhead environments.

I have used this double (redundant) bladder on deep, wreck, trimix dives, with E8-119 doubles and two 40cuf pony bottles. No need for a back plate when using steel tanks - instead I use two small retention plates. I use the OMS IQ harness system because it is fantastically compfortable. Don't be disuaded by DIR (do i their way). I added a few small pockets by Dive Rite (OMS pockets are way too big) and the entire rig works great. The retention bands help prevent air from shifting around inside a partially filled bladder - and help empty the bladder quickly.

It is a great wing for the non-DIR diver. Bungees retract he wing and keeps from spilling air to one side when you move. It is made of suck thick material that it has not ripped yet and I have rubbed it against some really nasty wrecks and rocks. The only downfall is that the flat piece that sits behind the backplate needs to be a little wider...not a big deal, it would just make it a little more comfortable when the wing is inflated. Often DIR picks on this for not being able to inflate at depth due to the bungees-you attach the bungees when it is fully inflated so it isn't hard to inflate manually if necessary (depth will put the same pressure on any manual wing inflation)...so don't worry about that.
