Comments about Mares Mares Kaila AT Women's BC with MRS Plus Weight Pockets:
I have owned a Mares Air Trim BCD since the beginning of my diving about 5 years ago. I love the Air Trim(AT), if you have debated about going to the AT from a standard BC, debate no more. It is so easy to perfect your buoyancy and it is very easy to use in any position in the water. I had to get a smaller BCD and didn't want to get away from Mares AT, so this was the one, made for a womens body was another selling point for me as well. It is so comfortable, very well padded, nice back support. The BCD inflates aroung your tank which helps keep you in a more natural diving position. A lot of D rings and places to put your gear. I have a knife, noise maker, safety sausage, flashlight, camera keeper, octo and comp and still have lots of room to clip more gear if I needed to. Easily fits 5+ pounds of soft weight in each pocket and I have a size small. Two cons - the inflator hose as stated in another review, does store inside the left pocket, if you use the pockets a lot, this could be an issue. I personally think pockets on BC's are pretty useless, they are so hard to get into. The other con is that it does not pack as compact as the other BC I have because of the padding and the way it inflates around the tank. I can still get all my gear minus fins into a carry on roller though so I am happy. I would buy this BC over and over again! I would go by measurements not necessarily weight. I am 5'7" and weigh a lean 150lbs and have a size small and it fits perfectly! A better size chart for the womens BCD I found on scubaboard from a mares rep.Size weight height waist chestXXS <80lbs <60" 20-30" <30"XS 80-115lbs 55-65" 22-32" 28-33"S 95-130lbs 59-67" 24-34" 30-36"M 110-145lbs 65-70" 27-38" 32-38"L 125-170lbs >67" 29-42" >35"

Comments about Mares Mares Kaila AT Women's BC with MRS Plus Weight Pockets:
I purchased this BC for my wife (I have the dragon) and she loves it. Unfortunately she has a neoprene allergy, which we didn't learn until after all of our purchases. Those with the same allergy beware there appears to be a small amount of neoprene padding around the neck line of this BC. My wife had to wear a turtle neck rash guard for protection. My only dislike is the manual inflation valve (Airtrim). It coils up inside of one of the BC side pockets and is pulled through a hole when needed. If you have anything stored inside that pocket the hose could get tangled up or pinched, not good under an emergency situation. Other then those two things she, she loves her Kaila.
