Kaila (means "style" in Hawaiian): for the elegant female diver who wants function and comfort allied with style and distinction. The modern and exclusive design of the Dragon air cell allows for optimal buoyancy. The slender design of the front also facilitatesbuoyancy on the surface. Practicality and style, who says you can't have it all. Dual adjustable shoulder straps allow BCD to adjustto a wide range of different torso lengths. Interior plush lined and neoprene padded collar for maximum comfort with or without a suit. The Back Protection System Plus is a patented dual position lumbar backpack. Heavily padded in either position, you can doublethe padding for increased lumbar support or extend the length of the padding depending on body shape for ultimate dive and pre-dive comfort. Optimal ballast with a mechanical release system, a simple click ensures easy and secure storage of the weight pockets. A single outward pull on the oversized handle releases your weights. Maximum load 6kg/13lbs, Velcro interior for dividing the pocket into multiple sections (M, L, XL) allowing a more secure weight system. Ergonomically designed shoulder straps to relieve pressure on the shoulders when wearing your gear, makes this BCD for She who Dives.

I was first reluctant buying online as at the end of the day it's about the fit, but based on previous recommendations I did order it, and I absolutely love it. [...] The BCD is very comfortable, and it fits me like a glove, doesn't move around and once used to integrated weights system it is just so much better than anything else I'd tried before. It has a lot of pockets and rings which I was looking for, as I carry a lot to clip there. It is a little heavier than you might be accustomed to, however, doesn't matter to me as I live where I dive and only travel three times a year with the gear. Also, you get quickly used to it and adjust your weights. Perfect fit for me!

This BC is extremely comfortable. Air is evenly distributed so you don't even feel your tank is there! I usually get a sore back after a week of diving, but this BC is pain-free. It's easy to adjust, and is nice and simple but also very functional-lots of D-rings and clips. Dries quickly, nice cozy fleece lining for skin diving. Only con is small pocket size: I'm a scientist and I often have to carry a lot in my BC, but the pockets are only big enough for a bundle of baggies or an extra mask.

I have no complaints about this product! I dive in cold water (40-50 degrees), using a dry suit, requiring quite a bit of weight. I have never had a problem fitting all of my weights into the pockets (one time 40+ lbs). It is easy to put on and take off, in and out of the water.

Got it for my wife as a xmas present. She use it on our trip to Thailand. She loved it, the inner liner was super comfortable, had all the bells and whistle, plenty of storage and ss D-rings. She said it was a perfect fit for her. The trim pocket held the weights securely and made adjusting the trim a breeze. It packs easily for traveling too.

I work for a dive shop in California and I have tried out a lot of BCD's and I haven't found anything as great as the Mares Kaila. I'm kind of a short woman and the BCD feels as if it was made just for me. There are sides that are cut out and curved to fit our hips for more comfortability. I love this BCD and would recommend it to all women.
