BCD has an ergonomically designed independent suspension strap system with frontclosure which allows air cell movement away from your body preventing squeeze when BCD is fully inflated. The cummerbund has a length adjustment and is depth compensating to prevent jacket ride-up at depth. Jacket also comes equipped with an adjustable and removable sternum strap all to give a comfortable custom fit. Stability of your cylinder is achieved with a sewn-in ridged pack frame and adjustable tank locator strap. Need to store something, not a problem with the two large expandable Velcro closure pockets.
The Genesis power inflator with rapped pull dump, LP Inflator Hose and a rear pull dump with ball pull cord makes trimming your buoyancy quick and easy in anyposition underwater or on the surface. I am a public safety diver and this is a great BC, especially if you are diving with a pony bottle setup. The trim weight pockets on the back are perfect to counterbalance a pony bottle. Public safety divers usually don't use weight integrated BCs, so it not being weight integrated is fine for me. The BC is also very durable, have used it for ice diving as well and didn't have any problems.

I am a big guy who does recreational advanced open water and shore dives. The vest is easy on and off and very forgiving. Once on it feels like an extension of my body rather a piece of equipment needed for diving. The trim pockets are perfect for that extra weight and because it does not have the integrated weight section it more open.
I have been diving for over 5 years and I wish someone would have told me about this BC before now.

Bought this BCD about 2 months ago from LPL and couldn't be happier with it. Fits great, adjusts easily, trims very easily, durably made. Lots of useful features. Has 2 gigantic zippered pockets, lots of D-rings. Replaced an older oceanic BCD and this one is of substantially better quality. Comes in 2x size for the bigger divers. Loved it so much I bought another for my daughter.

This is a fine BC just be aware that you will need a weight belt, it is not intergrated with its own weight system. Other than that its a good BC, no worries.

I have used a COBRA for 8 years so I shouldn't complain. The power inflator developed corrosion that caused problems on inflation. Maintenance helped but I finally replaced the unit this summer.
It IS a sturdy design and supports heavy use on research dives.

I didn't get to use this BCD, once I received it I realized it did not have a carrying handle. Other than the carrying handle, it has lots of features and fit well.

All BCD's have good points and bad points.
This one has many features and is adequate
for most regular diving situations.
I am a 6 foot 325 lbs. diver XXL suits big
man and is confortable.
If you need a good BCD at a good price i
recommend this one!
