If you're serious about diving and your dive gear, then look no further than theAqualung Pro QD BCD. It is the perfect marriage of functionality, design, and durability.

The Pro QD's internal harness evenly distributes the weight of your gear, keeping you from getting sore spots and isolated muscle strain and fatigue. Additionally, the patented 3-D internal gusset offers a great deal of lift; keeping you from getting weighed down by your gear.

This BCD is weight integrated, but also has two non-releasable rear weight pockets that hold up to 10 pounds. In an emergency, a diver may have to dump hisor her weight. Dumping 100% of that weight could be catastrophic; but retaining some weight in the rear pockets, an emergency ascent can keep from becoming an uncontrolled ascent.

Whatever the task you throw at it, the Pro QD is ready and eager to take it on.

The Aqualung people know comfort is crucial when designing dive gear. That's whythey incorporated neutrally-buoyant padding in the design of the Pro QD. It cushions your body while not affecting your weight requirements. The adjustable chest strap is another comfort feature offered by the Pro QD to increase your BCD's fit and your personal comfort.

I bought this through Leisurepro 10 years ago. At the time I was an Advanced O/W diver with 20 dives. I am now an instructor and this BC has done 900 dives. A brilliant workhorse BC. The only thing that has ever gone wrong with it is the stitching needed replacing on the backplate - this was after years of abuse and 800+ dives. It still looks like new despite being left in the sun for days covered in salt water. Cannot reccomend this BC highly enough. Never found one more comfortable. Lots of people I know prefer the 'wing style' BC but as far as the jacket style goes this is fantastic.

I was told by the "pro" this was an 09 model, I received an older model and had to send it back. It was a pain to deal with and tied up my money until I sent it back to get a refund. I have dove in this bc several times and would recommend it to a friend but would not use this site to get it.

I had the opportunity to try other BCDs before I put the SeaQuest Pro on. I am fairly new to diving and was amazed at the comfort and features it had, integrated weights, large pockets and an ample amount of features. One of the things that caught my eye was this BCD is completely adjustable. I have to say I am a large person and having a BCD that molds to your body shape will guarantee a great fit with out shifting. The SureLock weight system is a great feature, everything stays in place until you decide to dump it. Depending on how you have your weight distributed you can dump part or all of your weight.

I am satisfied with this BC it's comfortable. I don't have to worry about it while diving. I can concentrate on enjoying the dive. It fits like a jacket on dry land. the pockets are huge. the weights are very well designed easy to reach and easy to load. I love the back weight pockets. It fastens very well with the 3 belt/straps. I tried several other BC's before I bought this one. I would definitely recommend it. I dive the local cold water 40f to 65f.

I can not speak on experience of different BCD's. This is the only one that I have ever used. From training and certification to purchasing one of my own. But I have no complaints on this BCD. It does not shift on me or make me feel constricted in any way. The side pockets are easily accessible with rivet rings ready for knife installation. I noticed that when you are shopping for BCDs not all listings tell you if there is a lifting handle on the back. Well this BCD has a nice one. It also has two weight pockets on the back near the tank strap hidden you have to look for them! and the locking quick release weight pulls. Lots of steel D rings for attaching accessories. It is also easy to get into to with out getting tangled. You cant go wrong.

Absolutely fantastic BCD. Dived all over the world in this BCD and still looks as new as the day I got it. My dive instructors own one as well! Can't reccomend it highly enough, Tried the Diva and did not like it. I am a woman and I love my Pro QD.

the weight system rocks, if tugged on lightly it will not come out, but with a quick jerk it snaps right out. i wear mine with no shirt in the summer and there are no tags or anything poking me. just feels great

This BCD is great. It has two large pockets - a little hard to reach/unzip, but they hold everything! The quality is about as good as it gets. I love this BCD and have over 150 dives in it so far - still looks as if new.

I accidently lost the surelock weight system while opening the pocket to get a sausage. When you open the pocket zipper, you could easily bump loose the surelock weight system. It is costly to replace [$].The zippers could be better design if it opens up toward the back. Other than that, it is overall a comfortable BCG.

I switched from a backpack style to a jacket style for better surface position; it was a good move. This BCD is very comfortable. There are lots of ways to adjust the fit. The rear weight posckets can be hard to find but works well for balance and control. The cargo pockets are large but can be difficult to open/close when in the water. Overall a great BCD.

This BC fits big.The size chart is true. If it says you need an XL get it. I went one size up and I have to adjust it down every time I get in the water. Still works great.

I'm a Divemaster and have used this around the world. This is the most comfortable BCD I have ever used. Has all the key features that you want and no rubbish that you don't. Tank strap never slips. Integrated weights are good. But possibly the best feature is that it still looks like the days I got it ([...]) - and that was about 5 years ago and many many dives. I can't say enough good things about it!

This BCD is very durable and is easily adjustable. The Surelock Weight System is very convienient. The weight pockets behind the shoulders is very difficult to setup. If you can man-handle the rear weight pockets, it's a fantastic BCD.
